A few minutes after I sent Yoongi the photo, my phone pinged with a text from him.

YOONGI: HOLY SHIT! I NEED TO SEE YOU NOW!

Y/N: I can't. Malia and I are heading back to the apartment to finish packing.

YOONGI: I'm coming over.

Y/N: No, please don't. I can't see you right now.

YOONGI: I'm coming. Namjoon too.

Crap! I knew there was no talking him out of something he was so strongly set on. I really was in no emotional condition to deal with him. I let Malia know the guys were coming to our apartment.

Fortunately, we got there before they did. I had time to wash and redo my face, which was a mess after all that crying. As soon as I was done, we heard a knock at the door.

Malia answered it. "Hi, Yoongi. Hi, Namjoon. Come on in."

It was the first time they'd been inside our apartment. Yoongi looked around and admired my petal paintings on the walls. He touched one of them and said softly to himself, "She's still painting."

I hesitantly joined them in the living room. I was nervous, and my stomach was churning. As soon as I saw Yoongi, my eyes started to water. I tried my best to hold it together.

"You really shouldn't have come," I nervously told him.

"How could I not, after seeing that photo you sent? That was us," he replied, pacing back and forth.

"I ... I know, but ..." was all I could squeeze out.

"I felt and saw everything from that day. The smell of lavender, the piano playing, you looking beautiful as ever in that white dress, and then our personal vows. The promises we made to each other. It all came rushing back," he rambled.

"Please Yoongi, stop!" I pleaded, trying to hold back tears.

Malia and Namjoon could see the growing tension between Yoongi and me. They gave each other concerned looks, not sure what to do. Namjoon walked over to Yoongi and gently grabbed his arm to make him stop pacing.

"Bro, calm down and take a breath. I know this is overwhelming for both of you."

"You have no idea, Namjoon!" Yoongi cried.

"Okay. Is there anything Malia and I can do to help?"

"Yes. Please give Y/N and me a moment to talk alone. Why don't you guys pick up some lunch and come back?" Yoongi suggested.

"Sure, but promise me you'll remember your boundaries. She's still your brother's girlfriend," Namjoon reminded him softly.

Yoongi looked down and nodded slightly in acknowledgement.

Grabbing my hand, Malia asked, "Are you going to be okay here alone with him?"

"Yes. I'll be okay. I knew we were going to have this conversation at some point."

After Namjoon and Malia left, Yoongi and I stood across the room from each other in silence for a few minutes. I didn't know how or where to start.

Finally, he spoke. "Petal ...." he started.

"Please don't call me that right now."

"Fine. Y/N, can we please sit down and talk?"

I sat on the far end of the sofa. He sat on the other end and turned to face me.
