Costume Quest Fanfiction (like a Costume Quest 3 Story)

Chapter one

So after they know they are only the two of them, they decided to make it a sleepover, because Lucy has place for maximum 2 persons to sleep. She has the space for it and Everett isn't forced to go home on like 2-3 o'clock in the night. (Which would be bad for a 12 year old) The comet which comes every 75 years to see from earth, will be there at 23-1 o'clock, and they are making scientic notes, because Lucy is so much in science and he is her "experiment assistent" so they will make much notes. But she has some other plans before so they meet at 17 o'clock.

So it becomes 17 o'clock and Everett is, like expected, exactially on time in front of her house door:

Everett: *knocks*
*Lucy opens the door and goes as fast as she can to hug him*
Everett is confused first, but knows how to react so he closes his arms while she hugs him too.
Everett: Hi Lucy,
Lucy: Hey, please come in, here is my room, my parents aren't home.
Everett: okay
*They go up to her room with her telescope*
Lucy: Well, i'm glad to see you here, because I wanna talk about something, if you like to....
Everett: of course, what's up to your mind?

A few days after fighting Big Bones for the first time they talked a little bit deeper, because it was a big thing, but today, she looks way more uncomfortable than then...., probably because she was near death in Repugia; and last time they were all the four. Lucy is very important for Everett so he would do so much for her... like jumping in a portal with the other side full of repugiarchian soldiers.

Lucy: So, how should I start? You know, when I was... uhm... Well.... uh...
Everett: In Repugia?
Lucy: Yes, you know I'm not that kind of person who has that social ability or confidence to talk about such things...

Everett starts feeling better now, because he never heard her opening up to him on that way, mostly, she's so shy, that she must build up trust to talk to you about other things than science... And to talk deep it needs way more...
And Everett knows that.

Lucy: ... so good and from a scientic Point of View it's not that difficult and if you watch it from an other perspective then it's logical to react like that....
... but I wasn't feeling well for days.

Everett: Lucy, I see you are stressed, do you try to talk about Repugia?

Lucy: Right

Everett: so...

Everett had the know-how to talk to Persons because he knows how to reach them. He is a good, empathic boy, but when Lucy is the other person, he has such an aura which reaches her, so he mostly sees when something is going on with her. He loves Lucy, what the twins know and the two have more contact to each other than with the others... But mostly because she makes some science things and he isn't bored from it, so he helps her (but is not so competent what doesn't care Lucy)

Everett: ... I understand under which fear you must've been and I don't want to imagine something like that happening to me, so no matter what you want to talk about, you can talk and I promise you that I listen to you no matter how long no matter which topic. I promise.

Lucy: Well, that's nice from you, so theoretically I am happy to have something which shows the existence of Big Bones and Repugia, but in my heart, I have something like..... like..... arghh

Everett: Lucy, are you okay?

Lucy: I had such a weird feeling in the Candy Jail from Araxia. I firstly didn't knew if or when someone searches at me and I didn't knew if you would be fast enough. Because they wanted to feed Big Bones with me. If he hadn't had a sleep, I would be dead before you showed up there to fight Araxia. And when I sat there, I was very depressed, because I thaught I wasn't important enough for someone to go through the portal, I thaught so much it felt like a month, but it only was an half hour before you 3 came through the portal. Well, I hope you don't think I am weird.

*Everett hugs Lucy*

Everett: Lucy!!! You are not weird. I know you are an introvert, but I also know you are the most intelligent Person I know...
and also the most adorable.
And after you was sucked in by the portal, I really cried because I thaught you won't come back.
Never think you aren't important, because for me, the highest priority was to save you. And normally I am not that brave like you said then, idk why, but I couldn't do other, I rather died than let you back there.
*Lucy gets red*

Lucy: Awwwww you're so sweet! And there you acted like the knight your costume is.

*Everett gets red*

Everett: haha, thanks.

Lucy: Well, thank you for all you have done for ne.

Everett: Nothing to thank, I really like you...
before the portal came, I wanted to end my sentence with: because I think you are really...... really..... nice.

Lucy: I really like you too, that's why I talk so open to you. I wouldn't have started the conversation if Reynold or Wren would be there, because, I know you 3 are my best friends and that I can trust you all, but I can only talk to you about it, you are something like my best best friend... And you saved me.

*Everett gets red again*

*They are looking at each other*

Their thaughts:
Everett: I Hope I am not too obvious with me loving her (yes you are)
Lucy: Wow, I like him more than I thaught. He is the last knight haha.

Everett loves Lucy, but he never expected, that she likes him that much. She only hugged him before, when they were in Repugia. And her words: Spectation: That was SO brave!!! Never left his head. He never thaught that she likes him more than Wren and Reynold. He is very happy because of their good relationship, but he is also sad about her problems, he never thaught she can be that depressed....
But was there ever a problem, which couldn't be solved with Pizza and a telescope to the stars? I don't think so.

So they talked the next hour, about all the things in Repugia.
Then Everett has an Idea:
Everett breaks the looking phase:
Everett: Are you hungry?

Lucy: Well, I think my stomach could like Something, why?

Everett: So... I can "cook"

Lucy: what do you mean with "cook"?

Everett: I know how to make a pizza. *laughs*
*Lucy laughs too*

Everett: Was there ever a problem which couldn't be solved with pizza?

Lucy: so, I have made much scientic observings but I never tried it with pizza.
*Everett laughs*

After that dialogue:
Everett and Lucy are sitting there with pizza in their hands and watching a film about the comet. Lucy only thinks: Ahhh this is life! While Everett thinks: yummy!!! pizza

So then, it turned 22:30, only an half hour before the comet comes.

Everett: I'm excited, what about you Lucy?

Lucy: Yes, but I shortly go before it arrives, I'll be right back!

Everett starts thinking, because she likes him and he thinks of signals and that stuff so he gets unsure of His thaughts. He thinks about asking her out, right when the position of the comet is perfectly for watchers.
Then he realised, that it is not the right time, when the complete Araxia Story came back to her thaughts, so he wants to wait with it. It's not the right point of time, not that time.

Lucy comes back and sees Everett perfectly prepared, the block in his near, a blanket for both and the telescope in the middle.

Lucy: Impressive, you're very fast

Everett: Yea haha, is it a new record? *laughing from both* (but in a cringe way)

Then, Lucy sits down and after a while, she wants lay her arm to Everetts shoulders, but decided not to do.

*It turns 23:33*

The both are spectating the comet and at the best point for them watching, Lucy takes all her braveness and starts laying her to Everett and he reacts. So they start cuddling. And they are more like watching the beautiful stars than spectating something.

At midnight, Everett starts suddendly sleeping and Lucy was nearly sleeping, when she sees a suspicious creature. It looked like a mix of a Crestwailer and a Grubbin. And it had surprised Reynold, Wren and their family, all are caged.
