"SERIOUSLY?!?!?!? " screamed Alicia.
"Can't there be a single day when I won't have to look after Annabeth?" said Alicia frustrated over her little sister.
Alicia the 13 years old girl, lived with her father, younger sister, stepmother and step siblings. Her mother left her when she was six. At that time Annabeth, Alicia's younger sister was only 2 years old. So the responsibility of looking after Annabeth fell upon Alicia.
Alicia's stepmother had given them the room under the staircase which was supposed to be used as a store-room. Spiders are Annabeth's biggest fear and she just saw one and started crying hopelessly. Alicia tried to comfort her she it was pointless. At last sleep came in spite of her fear and Annabeth slept peacefully.
It was 3 am in the morning and Alicia went to the kitchen to drink water. She looked out of the window and saw her old maths teacher. Alicia hated her maths teacher her entire life. As their eyes met Mrs.Dodds , the maths teacher smiled cruelly. Her eyes reflected the intimacy between two enemies at a battlefield.
"Return what you have retrieved," shrieked Mrs.Dodds.
"What did I take? And why are you here?"asked Alicia, terrified by her sight.
"Don't act innocent girl. Of course you know. How dare you lie being the child of wisdom,"said Mrs. Dodds disgracefully.
"You must return what you have stolen lest you shall die"
"I have no idea what you are talking about,"said Alicia shaking with terror.
"YOU LIAR! I must take you to my Lord," said Mrs. Dodds.
Alicia wanted to scream but she know it won't do any good. There was a knife on the table she threw it at Mrs. Dodds but it missed by a few inches. Then Mrs. Dodds leaped into the house and slashed her fangs at Alicia's chest.
