Fires were beautiful, the sparks that flew off it always made tiffany curious, what caused the spark? But then, the spark always fades away that fire eventually turns to ash..

She turned to jack, who was sat close to the fire clenching his jaw as he thought deeply. She couldn't help but notice that the fire made his eyes brighter than usual and his skin glow a beautiful shade of orange.

He noticed the staring and turned to face her, but he wasn't smirking as she expected. He was smiling, his pearly white teeth showing as he genuinely smiled.

"do you feel safe here?"

he suddenly asked.

"define safe, the word safe does not describe this island to me."

"cmon tiff, your not frightened by any of us are you?"

"Oh gosh yes, Ralph and his conch really gives me the shivers!" she said, a sarcastic tone in her voice.

he began to laugh, inching closer to her.

"I'll make sure you always feel this safe though alright?"

they were now only inches about, he was staring into her eyes as she diverted her stare to the ground.

he placed his thumb gently under her chin and forced him to look up at her, "nervous golding?" she raised her eyebrow about to make a cocky insult.

But something stopped her, she instead turned away and took in the surroundings of the beautiful sunset as the sun began to descend below the horizon.

"so are you coming down to the clearing to wash off now?" jack asked as they walked down the side of the hill after swapping over with samneric. "hm, fine."

as they reached the clearing, tiffany noticed Rodger sat on the cliff edge just above the clearing.

"oh, uhm is he ok?" she tapped jack on the arm lightly who followed her gaze.

"ROG, BUDDY!"

Jack immediately caught his attention and Rodger nodded at the boy, gesturing with his hands "what?"

they shouted up to one another while tiffany removed her outfit and dived into the water, appearing again a few seconds later.

she began to wash her hair in the waterfall when she felt a pair of arms holding onto hers.
"let me."

Usually, if any guy even attempted to touch her she'd have them running from her within seconds once she opened her mount but the island changed that. She was too exhausted to get caught up about those things now and so she reluctantly let him wash her hair as she stared up at the sky.

Jack washed the salt out of her hair, although the smell of it would never be gone.

She was incredibly confused, how can this man be so.. bipolar all the time.

After he was done, she sat on the side letting her long hair dry in the breeze, with jack's military jacket wrapped around her after being practically ordered by him.

It was then that she heard footsteps, in fact it was almost as if someone was marching..

now let me get one thing straight, Tiffany didn't practically like Ralph and so she wasn't fond on the long list of rules he made, and she would make that clear. She never got to vote as she was unconscious during that time, but clearly Jack didn't like him either as when they both saw him marching towards them they rolled their eyes in unison.

"HAVING FUN ARE WE?"

"yeah, i am honestly because being stuck on this stupid island with 30 guys is my total idea of fun."

"loose the bitch attitude alright tiff?"

"OI"

jack jumped out of the water he was showering in and walked over to Ralph.

"what's your problem man, we are just showering?"

"WHATS MY PROBLEM, WHATS MY BLOODY PROBLEM??"

"hey, uh jack i don't think he heard you."

they both began to laugh when Ralph stamped his foot angrily, almost like a toddler.

"you finished fire watch 3 hours ago, you should have been helping out!"

"oh right, let me just check my watch real quick chief." jack mimed looking at his bare wrist before checking the time.

"oh right, seems like one of us forgot we are on a fucking island."

Rodger suddenly appeared next to them, he must have been spectating from afar, he nodded at Tiffany as the others were too involved in their feud to pay attention.

Rodger then confidently wandered over to Jack and stood a little in front of him, almost protectively.

"Fuck off."

After a hard stare and a head shake directed at Tiffany, Ralph stomped back into the jungle amongst the wild birds and lonely trees.

"He is getting worked up over nothing, this is a holiday."

"Your right, Rog. It's the break we needed."

Tiffany let out a sigh. A break..

She reminded herself of the house of her uncle's in London where she had spent many years of her childhood. The back garden that reminded her a little of the jungle, wild flowers strewn all over the ground and the treehouse she loved dearly. She should be there right now, but instead she was stuck here..

"Tiffany?"

"Yep sorry, I'm gonna go for a walk so I'll see you, boys!" With that she walked away, Jack's military jacket still wrapped around her as her  wet hair dripped down the back.

They both watched as she walked along the Sandy path down towards the beach while the birds sung their merry tune.

"Last one in there likes cock!"

Jack and Rodger both launched themselves into the water, laughing again like they were children and not 17 year old boys trapped in the middle of nowhere.
