The next morning I found myself snuggled against Miss Debenham who had her arm wrapped around me. I tapped her on the shoulder, and I woke up. She saw Mr. Bouc waking up the men on the other side of the room. Miss Debenham proceeded to wake up Mrs. Hubbard while I woke up Miss Estravados, albeit carefully as I had no doubt she was jumpy if surprised. " Ladies, and gentlemen we must get off the train. It is not safe whilst they move it back on the tracks." Mr. Bouc said to us. Miss Debenham and I went back to our compartment where we changed into clothing more suitable for the weather. Then, we and the rest of the passengers were hurried off the train like cattle, and made our way toward the tunnel. Before we left the train however, Bouc requested that we both make our way to the luggage compartment. I shrugged, and we both followed him.

" You asked for us? Another interrogation?" she asked. " Oh no, I enjoy your company. Merci Bouc." he tells the director who leaves. " Please." Poirot gestured to the seats, and we all sat. " I have a list of ten questions I am no nearer to answering, and the train is about to leave. You have a clear mind, and I thought that one of you might produce an insight. Please." he says, giving Miss Debenham the notebook. I stand, and look over her shoulder. " The handkerchief, the pipe cleaner, the scarlet kimono, the uniform, the time on the watch, Was he murdered then?, earlier or later? By one person or more? Which of them?" Miss Debenham reads out. She hands it back to him saying that she can't help him. " Perhaps I can. May I?" I ask, holding my hand out. The detective hands me the notebook with a pencil. I sit in my seat away from the prying eyes of Miss Debenham. If I was to believe my own theory about the entire group, that included Miss Debenham. I wrote and scribbled answers to some of his questions, and handed it back to him, subtly shaking my head. " Might I go? I have a feeling the rest of this only involves Miss Debenham." I ask politely, and the detective nods. However I do not leave although I do close the door. Instead I hide behind a bunch of suitcases, and listen to what the detective has to say.
