'H-how can he do this...? He promised...' I thought.

He just left.

I knew someday he'd leave but not today...

Wow the world can really be unfair.

The door bell rang meaning somebody had just walked in.

I was watering a few plants near the door. I put the watering can down and brush my hands together showing the person who had just walk in a smile welcoming them.

"Welcome! How may I help you today?" I said.

He had brown hair and a grey hat, he was also wearing round glasses, he had a kinda lightish, darkish brown jacket and a linen shirt.

"Uhm I'm just looking for flowers for my girlfriend." He replied looking at the blue flowers.

"What are these? These look beautiful."

I walk towards him and look in the direction where he was looking and it seemed like he was looking at Hydrangeas.

"Oh, those are Hydrangeas! Meaning Togetherness." I said picking them up.

"Oh alright, I'll take them." He said smiling.

"Okay! Meet me at the counter." I said walking in the back room and wrapping them making it a bouquet.

As I left he went to look at other flowers, in the corner of my eye i see him look at Gloxinia.

I came back out to see him inspecting the flowers seeds on the counter.

"Okay so you're totally is 3.00 dollars." I said tapping on the screen.

He pull out his wallet and took out a five dollar bill.

"Keep the change." He said taking the flowers and leaving.

I just stood there as he walk out. 'Wow 2 dollars?! Now I can buy myself a crumb at Gucci!' I thought jokingly.

I chuckle at my thought and put the five dollar bill and took out 2 dollars and put it in my wallet.

After that a few other costumers came in, they wanted the usual simple flowers, like roses, sunflowers and daisies.

Then I closed down the shop and made my way home.

As I walk threw the doors the smell of cigarettes and alcohol instantly hitting my nose.

I walk further into the house to see my parents and a few other of their buddies.

My father sees that I'm home and came walking-more like wobbly- towards me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"There's my son! Wanna sit down and have fun with us?" His breath smelling.

"Uh no sorry dad. I have to water my plants." I said.

"Aw cmon! Those plants can water their selves." He said walking back to mother.

"Hi mom, hi everyone." I said walking to my room.

I heard all of them say hi back as I close my door.

I sigh and take off my jacket and hat.

I pick up my watering can and began watering my plants.

A knock was heard on my door and walk towards it to see who it was.

It was my mother..

"Oh hi mom, need something."

She was kinda sober so I wasn't really much worried since she doesn't do that much drugs.

"Wanna go get dinner? Dad and his friends should be leaving soon." She said.

"Oh uh yeah of course. You or me?" I said asking which one of us is driving.

"You of course, you know I can't drive." She said smiling. She was always such a kind woman, but ever since she met my dad she was doing a bit of drugs. But not a lot since she has to take care of the house and me.

I showed her a smile and said okay.

"When will we be leaving?" I question.

"I guess right now, store is about to close in 30 minutes." She said checking the watch on her wrist.

"Okay." I said putting back on my jacket and hat.

I came out and see her putting on his jacket and shoes.

She look at me in amazement.

"Wow i still can't understand how you have such a beautiful style." She said chuckling.

I chuckle too as we head out to the car.

We make it to the store and drive back home.

After that we watched a couple movies and went straight to bed.

"Maybe tomorrow will be another good day for me and my parents." I said closing my eyes and falling into deep sleep.
