Eloise Bridgerton was never one to believe in marriage or courtship. She thought many days she would end up a Spinster of society. She didn't like the idea of losing one's self to marriage. It made her feel that men have enough power, and she would never let a man control her by any means. She had opinions and a mind of her own. One she wanted to share with the world. She at eight, and ten met Theo Sharpe. She still remembers the first day they met even today. They clicked so fast over like minded ideas and new views of the world. They fell hard for one another over their love of literature, passions and views of the world. She remembers the first time he really looked at her at the rally. It was like free falling off of the highest cliff, but feeling safe because his eyes were like coming home. Her and Theo went through so much together. They almost lost their friendship at one point, but Eloise eventually realized she needed him and he needed her. So they both apologized and after they were inseparable. They were friends first and their bond only grew over time until they admitted their feelings and he kissed her. The kiss felt so soft on her lips like she could just melt in his arms.
