᪥"My princess, your father has requested for you." One of the empire's guards bowed.

᪥"Tell him I am on my way, now you are dismissed" I said not looking at him. He nodded and left my chambers. I sighed and made my way to my father.

᪥I opened the doors and slightly bowed, "You requested for me father?" He turned to me and smiled sadly."Yes my daughter," He said while frowning,"I hope you are aware of the war that is about to occur in the country.."
I frowned. "Yes father I am aware."

᪥"Unfortunately, I am not so sure I will make it out alive, that is why I will be sending you to a country where there will be a group protecting you," He said while putting his hands on my shoulder while looking at me with sad eyes. "I have to send you there because you are technically going to be the empress of this empire and we need you to stay alive so forgive me my child" He hugged me.

᪥I started crying in his shoulder while holding him close. "When will I depart?" I asked looking at him with red puffy eyes.

᪥"Tomorrow.." He responded looking down.

᪥"Very well, I will be in my chambers packing my belongings"  I said exiting our meeting place.

᪥When I reached my chambers I started sobbing while packing.

᪥After packing for awhile I fell asleep on my bed.

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulders, I opened to see my father smiling at me. I sat up rubbing my eyes, "Is it time to leave?" I asked .

᪥"Yes my daughter, I will wait for you by the horses, please hurry." He said as he left my chambers.

᪥I got off my bed and wore warm clothes as it was a rather cold morning.

᪥I went to the stables and saw my father there, I gave him s big hug and started crying. "Please don't cry my child, we will meet again soon." He said holding my tight.

᪥"I will miss you father." I cried on his shoulder. "Me too my daughter, me too"

᪥We stayed like this gor awhile until it wad time to go, "I guess this is goodbye" I said while smiling sadly.

᪥"I guess it is, be careful my child, and don't forget I will always love you" He said looking at me one last time.

᪥"Love you too." I said hiving him one last hug. We separated from the hug and I entered the carriage, but before entering he gave my a necklace thay belong to my mother before she disappeared.

᪥We bid our final farewell, and I departed to met these group that was meant to protect me.
