I felt someone poking my cheek, then pulled my ear. I let out a groan and returned to my dream land again. Suddenly I felt as if my spine was going to break.
What the hell!!

I let out a yelp. As I craned my head, I saw Nina giggling and jumping on my back.(Her pic ^^)
Gosh she is too adorable to be thrown in cow shit.
Ladies and gentleman meet my little sister Nina Billie Brooks. My personal alarm. She looks adorable as hell with those dark doe eyes and dimple smile. I love her to the moon and back. She is pretty much spoiled by me and my elder brother Cole.
Turning around, I grabbed her in my arms and started tickling her. "You little monster, how many times do I have to tell you not to wake me so early on holidays?"
She started squealing and telling me to stop. But before I could do anything my gorgeous face was met with a pillow and my ears were ringing with profanities muttered by none other than Nico my asshat of a best friend.
"Nicolas Alexander Harrison stop using those words in front of my baby sister", I shout at him.
I could tell from the look on his face I was about to be murdered by my best friend, so I used the only shield I had. That is Nina.
I pushed Nina towards him and said "Why don't you talk with, Nico sweetheart"
That's when he noticed Nina who started crawling towards him and gave him a forehead kiss making Nico smile and hug her.
That littleshit wakes him up with a kiss and breaks my spine in the name of waking me up!
"Well, look at you two, I feel like an outsider", I said with a fake pout on my face.
"Shut up idiot" was his brilliant response making Nina giggle who is cuddling him.
There are times when I am jealous of Nina and Nico's relationship. The only time I've seen him smile so much is when he's with Nina. He treats her as his own sister, and for her he is a hero.
Basically she is in love with Noodles that is his curly hair . Which I am secretly jealous of.
"You don't even kiss me Nina and I am your brother", I said while wiping my fake tears.
"Dramatic ass", I heard Nico mumble.
" Max you are just my brother nothing special and you know I love you but Nico is my best friend so I have to treat him special" She said while giggling.
"Whatever, Nico dibs on bathroom", I said while giving Nico the middle finger and rushed toward bathroom.
Before I could enter I heard Nina call me
"Arghhh what now Nina?" I asked, leaning against the bathroom frame.
"Max, mama, and papa said they would be home by this afternoon. So, I would like you to tell Ms. Martha to cook tasty food and help me make our house look clean.", She said with an exited look on her face
Darn, I forgot to tell her they were not coming today. The problem with my parents is that they are never home. Ms. Martha has been our cook for as long as I can remember and pretty much raised Cole and me. Our parents are far too busy making money than looking after their children.
The irony is that they have time to go on a vacation to Hawaii but not to spend time with their children. Perks of having selfish and money minded parents.
It was shock for me and Cole when our parents announced mom was pregnant with Nina.
Me and Cole pretty much raised Nina, with little help of Ms. Martha of course.
She always craved the affection of our parents. When she asked us why her parents don't attend school like other parents do or why they don't have family nights like her friends, I was heartbroken. My parents left a huge hole in her life that we are trying to fill, but it isn't really working.
Nico already knew that they were not coming today so he turned her towards him and said " Nina your parents got struck in the airport, there is something wrong with plane. So,they will return once everything is alright".
We should probably tell her truth that they are 'too busy' to come. But I didn't have it in me to tell her that our parents don't care about us.
She turned to me with tear filled eyes and a pout on her face. "Is it true max", she asked me in quite voice. I just nodded at her.
"But they told me this time they would come for my birthday", she said quietly trying not to cry.
"We'll do something special for your birthday. I'll be going out for lunch with Max today, so tell me if you would like to come along. Also, you can get ice cream there," Nico switched the subject.
I've got a pretty great lunch spot in my head, so that's not a problem. I replied, "Yes Nina we're going for lunch.".
"Okay but I want two ice creams" , she said showing two fingers.
"Yeah, yeah fine. Just don't tell Cole", I said chuckling.
