CHAPTER 1-FIRST DAY
Authors note:

Hey! I absolutely adore Zoey 101 and I wish there was a real school like PCA. So I decided to write a fanfic about it! Different characters, completely different times. In Zoey 101, they went to school within 3 yrs, in 2005-2008. In my story, they characters go to PCA in 2012-whenever I say so. XD Anyway they don't go to school at the same time, but they each have the same amount of fun and an amazing experience at Pacific Coast Academy. Hope you love it!!!

-Katlynn

P.S. Obviously all of the characters are fictional, but a lot are based on people I really know in real life. Keep that in mind! I have the song Suit and Tie by Justin Timberlake stuck in my head and its driving me crazy!!!

"Avery wake up or you're going to be late for your first day at PCA!" Avery's eyes slowly opened at the sound of her mom's stressed voice. She yawned enormously and rubbed her eyes. She quickly glanced over to her alarm clock. It read:

8:42

8:42 already?!? My alarm clock was supposed to go off at 8:15! All students are supposed to meet in campus at 10:00 it takes an hour and a half to get there so that means.... I WILL BE LATE!!! Avery thought to herself and then shot out of bed. She just couldn't be late for the first day at PCA! It was one of the best boarding schools in the COUNTRY, let alone California. She threw on her jean mini skirt, a white and purple tank top, and a purple vest. She couldn't wait to get there, to be free of all of her mom's dumb, overprotective rules. They weren't that bad, but living with them for 13 years, you need a break. And going to a boarding school is the perfect opportunity.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Avery's mom had asked. "Mom, I'm thirteen, I will be fine! You only live a few hours away! Its not college." Avery had assured her. But all the same, her mom still looked concerned.

Now Avery was brushing through her thin, beautiful brunette hair and trying to brush her teeth at the same time. After she finished that she recoated her purple and silver nails with a glossy protector, as she was also trying to put a white and purple tie-died headband in her hair, careful not to mess it all up again. She cautiously put on her light makeup and applied her pink lipgloss. Her kittens Whiskers and Muffin watched her intently, mewing every so often. Avery smiled, but it didn't last long. She was going to miss her kittens but she had to focus. She still had to be at PCA in less than 2 hrs.Oh god I hope this is worth it! I haven't rushed like this since the first day of middle school! Avery thought to herself again. She yawned and grabbed her pink and black luggage bag, duffle bag, shoulderbag and purse and darted out her purple and pink bedroom, carefully rushing down the stairs and into the kitchen, where her mom sat at the counter, sipping at the coffee cup in her hand.

"Mom, c'mon!" Avery grabbed an apple out of the big fridge and crunched on it, while her mom got up and grabbed her keys. "Lets go." Her mom said, walking out the door. "Wait!" Avery scooted over to the counter and slipped her white iPhone in her purse, a sequin falling off of the purple sparkly case. In case you haven't figured it out already, Avery is a purple kind of girl. It compliments her in more than one way.

Avery took her stuff and ran to the front hall and slipped on a pair of low white heels. She then darted out the door (after saying goodbye to her dad, one of her little sisters, Izzy, and Muffin and Whiskers) and jumped in the front seat of the minivan, where her mom and other little 4th grade, ten yr old sister were waiting. "Finally! I've been waiting here for 20 minutes!" Her sister muttered. "Oh shut up Eva." Avery scoffed. "Mom, tell me again why Eva has to go to my new school!" Avery's mom rolled her eyes. "Eva is old enough to go and its a good bonding experience for you two!" Now, both Avery and Eva rolled their eyes. "Whatever." They said in unison.
