[~•~Ikuto's view~•~]
"That makes no sense for me" I sighed frustrated.
"Goddamn! Believe in fate you Grinch!" Groaned Kukai.
"The Grinch hated Christmas....he didn't not believe fate" I explained before drinking a bit of my coffee.
We were at a diner for breakfast. And like usual we had the same converstain. I had know Kukai since elementary school. And he always was the kind of person who beloved in fate. I didn't. I always thought the decisions I make were because I wanted to make them.
He always tried to make me believe in fate. Especially since he's dating my sister. J guess that's just so I don't rip his balls off for sleeping with her.
"Fate doesn't make sense" I responded "you're telling me that everything I do I do for a reason" I said.
"Yes!"
"So you're telling me that if I ask the next girl that walks across to date me, it also could be fate that I asked her and she's in your words you use for my sister 'the one'?" I asked.
"We'll, I wouldn't put it that way....but yes" he said as he rubbed his chin.
I sweat-dropped. But I really wanted to show him that I just make a decision because I want. A girl came up to us. A waitress dressed in a short yellow dress and a white apron.
"Can I help you with something?" She asked smiling.
I looked up at her. She had a cute round face which was framed with long pink hair. Her honey golden eyes were glued at the small notebook in her hands.
"Yes" I started "what would you say if I asked you to date me now?" I asked.
She looked up a little surprised at me before asking "uh....you mean like dating in a relationship or just going on a date?".
"The first one" I responded.
She still looked a bit confused. I guess I scared her off. It's not everyday that a stranger asked you such a question. I bet she actually wants to run.
"Okay" she suddenly responded again with a smile. I froze. Did she just say okay? She scribbled something down on her notebook and handed it to me.
"I guess even if we're dating we should go on a date first" she responded "by the way....my name is Amu" she added before walking off to another table.
I stood there still shocked. Kuk a I just like me was unable to move from shock.
"Did that....just really happen?" I asked sweat-dropping.
"Jup....congrats....you have a girlfriend now" he responded with an awkward laugh "see! That's something I call fate!" He laughed a bit harder. I was about to throw my fork at him if I wasn't in the most awkward situation of my life.
That was two days ago. Even thought I could have just thrown her number away I kind of couldn't. She seemed to cheerful. If I would drop her I'd do it face to face.
I was in the middle of town looking for the small pinkette who's name was Amu. I soon spotted her in front of a bookstore. She looked different from how she looked at the diner.
She looked more like a grown woman now. Thank goodness. I hoped she wasn't still something like 16 or 18.
She was tightly dressed in a thick white trench coat which had furr on it. She wore long black boots and matching gloves
And around her neck was wrapped a thick red scarf. She didn't expose anything of her body. Of course, who would in the middle winter. But she still looked amazing.
She was looking trough some books and had a bag filled with other books next to her. Her eyes looked around through the crowd of people until they spotted me. A smile sneaked onto her lips as she winked. She paid for the book and mad her way towards me.
"Hey there handsome-kun" she greeted me cheerfully.
"Handsome-kun?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well....I completely forgot about asking your name, that's why I thought about a nickname for you" she giggled.
I felt a knife stabbing like feeling in my back. I came here to tell her it was an misunderstanding. But do I really want to know. I mean she's cute and adorable. And i hadn't had a girlfriend in a while.
Well, I could see how this is going and then decide.
I took Amu into a cafe. Eventually I told her my name so she wouldn't call me Handsome-kun the whole time.
It was warm inside the cafe so Amu took off her coat and scarf. Underneath her coat she wore skinny jeans and tight summer green pullover. Her figure was just amazing.
"So...first of all....how old are you?" I asked.
"Oh? I'm 15" she responded.
"What!?"
"Joke....I turned 20 last September" she giggled amused before ordering a big choco macchiatoand and a croissant.
I almost had a heart attack. Thank god she's only three years younger than me. We talked for a while. She was pretty interesting. She seemed to be cheerful the whole time.
But one question still confused me. Why she simply said yes to a relationship with me. I mean no one would do this. I have a pretty face. But I could also be a rapist. She wouldn't have know.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Since we're dating...sure" she laughed.
"Yeah, about that...." I muttered "why did you agree just like that? Didn't you think I'm weird?" I asked.
"No..." she responded "my whole life I never made my own decisions...everything was planned For me" she explained a bit sadder. Even her expression changed.
"My boyfriends also all were guys my parents had decided for me. I come from a wealthy family but I don't need it. That's why I moved out and started making my own decisions. And you seemed to be a pretty good one" she said with a slight grin as she leaned a bit forward.
I smirked. So she did have a playful side, too.
"Okay.... last question? What do you think about fate?" I asked with one eyebrow up. She took a sip from her choco macchiato as she thought about it.
"Fate means everything is already decided for you....so I guess....I don't like it. And so I don't believe in it" she responded as she shrugged her shoulders.
I smiled. Okay...I guess I'll get along with her better than with Kukai.
