Sunset

    "Brayden! Come on! You take forever!" I yelled up the stairs.
    "Sorry, I tripped a few times," he came downstairs in only his swimming trunks, looking as hot as ever. Yes, I liked my best friend, but no one has to know, right? "Come on, let's go to the beach!" Brayden took my hand and led me out the door. I blushed a little but, silently hoping he didn't notice.
    "D'awwww, you're blushing!" Gosh darnit! I could feel my cheeks getting hotter.
    After a few more minutes, we were at the beach.
    "Come on! Let's goooooooo!" I yelled, running into the water.
    "Aren't you gonna take your coverup off?"
    "Nope!" He laughed while I giggled a little bit.
    We splashed around for a while until suddenly, Brayden threw me over his shoulder.
    "Put me down!" I screamed, lightly pounding my fists against his back.
    "Neverrrrrrrrrr!" He brought me all the way up to shore and set me down in front of him. "Y'know..." he said, leaning in closer. My breath got caught in my throat. "You like me..."
    "W-w-what? N-n-nnno," my cheeks were probably brighter than a tomato by now.
   "Don't pretend baby girl, it's obvious." He leaned even closer and snaked an arm around my waist. He glanced at the sunset behind us briefly, before turning back to me. "And don't worry either, I like you too." I looked up at him in disbelief.
    "R-really?" He let out a small laugh.
    "Yes, really." He leaned in closer, and just when I thought he was about to kiss me, my phone rang. Instead of kissing me on the lips, Brayden quickly kissed my forehead.
