Good and Evil, light then darkness.

"Mama hurry up!" You ran ahead into the garden almost tripping over a stone as you ran through the temples entrance to the sacred garden of the protecters, "tread lightly [Y/n]" your mother said holding a picnic basket gracefully walking behind you, you would always come out on a Sunday when your mother wasn't busy to watch in Yin and Yang fish swim around the fresh water as you sat underneath your favourite blossom tree and had your lunch, you jumped on the grass underneath the tree wait for your mother to catch up, "now [Y/n] calm down you don't wanna scare the fish now do you?" she placed the picnic blanket onto the floor and lifted her dress up a tad bit so she could gently sit down next to you, "plus you don't want to miss out on my special dumplings and sticky tofu~" she said waving around the basket making your mouth drool "give me!" you tried to snatch it if her but she held the basket above your head, "[Y/n] manners please" you sulked as you dropped your hands to your side, "can you please give me your yummy dumplings and tofu" you babbled you were still young and still learning to pronounce words "okay fine, since you asked so nicely" she opened the basket the smell of the hot dumplings and the sweet smell of the sticky tofu lingered in the air filling up your noses with such a delightful smell making you droll more, "here dear careful now it's hot" she said holding the dumpling carefully in one hand then giving it to you, you didn't waste much time shoving the fat filled dumpling into your mouth almost forgot getting to swallow making you cough "I told you to be careful sweetheart, are you okay?" She said patting your back you nodded in between coughs, you both sat in confutable peaceful silences for awhile until you spoke up, "mamma?" you said looking up to the adult "can you tell me about Yin and Yang again" you said peering into the pond looking at the white and black fish swimming in harmony in the same circle synchronised dance, "Oh of course dear it all started when-"....

A loud ringing noise had woken you up from your slumber on your desk you had been working all night you must of pasted out how long were these dreams going to last you sighed as you looked at your phone mumbling under your breath about how loud it was you picked it up hitting the answer button, "hello?" you said basically asleep, "[Y/n]!" A squeaky but familiar voice shouted down the phone awaking you up fully "me and Mk just found out that there's a new anit-gravity arcade you have to come!!" she yelled so loud that there was air coming through your phone "sorry Mei I'm going the library today" you could already hear her getting upset "Come on [Y/n]! You have to come they have this cool new anti-gravity arcade you can't miss it!" Your friend Mei screamed at you down the phone, she really wanted you and Mk to go to this brand new anti-gravity arcade but you couldn't because of all the homework you had been given you had dropped most of it while running away from that monkey demon thinking about that demon made you shiver, "I'm sorry Mei I can't come you know I have to get this homework done" you heard her groan through the phone "come on [Y/n] it's going to be fun, remember what I told you" you sighed, "I know to not push myself to hard it's just-" she interrupted up half sentence "okay you need to stop with the excuses but I wouldn't force you to go" you could her disappointment in her voice as she spoke "okay I have to go now take care!" she cut you off as she ran away to do gods knows what.

Bag, check overdue books by almost a year now, check homework, check laptop, check amulet that you will definitely take more care of from now on, check you walked out of your room and into the kitchen, "morning kiddo" your aunt said your little cousin next to her with what looks like the bathroom stool your cousin used to reach the sink "Hi [Y/n] I'm helping!" she said throwing in an orange into the blender aggressively "careful you'll get it everywhere" you aunt says grabbing your cousin arm so she won't hurt herself or us by throwing fruit around the kitchen, "so where are you headed this early in the morning?" she says as you put bread in the toaster then lent on the counter "library I got to drop off a couple things and take out a couple of things" the toast popped out and you buttered it on the counter "okay don't say out to late you know how you get" you roll you eyes as you took a bite out of the crispy slightly burnt toast "I'll be fine I'll see you guys later love you" you said opening the front door before slamming it shut "wait! you didn't get to try my orange juice" you cousin shouted as you slammed the door shut.
