Jenny’s POV
Everyone else went to bed while Jay and I decided to stay up and watch Avatar. We both sat on the couch and Jay slid really close to me and put his arm over my shoulder. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL. JAY MCGUINESS IS TOUCHING ME. I didn’t want him to see I was completely freaking out so I just smiled and snuggled into him. Ahhh this is the life. About an hour or so into the movie Jay looks at me.
“ This is my favorite part. Whats yours?” He asked. I just froze because the truth is I’ve never seen this before.
“ UHHH. I’ve never seen this before…” I said then I started laughing.
“ What?!?! How have you never seen this before. This is the best movie in the world!” He said.
“ Sorry? I’ve never had the urge to see it.” I said.
“ What!! Never had the urge to see it! I knew you American girls were strange.” He said.
“ Oh jeez thanks.” I said with sarcasm. Jay just bust out laughing, his infamous laugh. I could listen to this boy all day. Then his face got serious and got a smirk on it.
“ What are you up to Mcguiness?” I asked.
Before I knew Jay was on top of me tickling me. What is up with these boys and tickling people! I couldn’t breath and I was screaming stop but it was no use. My legs were flying everywhere and then the next thing I knew it Jay was lying on the ground in the fetal position, I looked down and realized what happened.
“ OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY!” I said. I quickly hopped off the couch to the freezer to find peas and then I was at Jay’s side.
“ Here! Oh my god! I can’t believe I kicked you in your junk! I'm so sorry!” I said.
“ Its fine.” Jay said with a strain in his voice. After a minute or so I couldn’t contain it anymore and I busted out laughing.
“ How is this funny?!?!” Jay screamed.
“ I don’t know!” I said before I went back into my laugh attack. Jay joined me and after a minute or so we calmed down. He finally sat up and when he did he was less then an inch away from my face, I could feel his breath on my lips. All I could do was look into those Icy blue eyes. Then he started to lean in, OH MY GOD ITS GONNA HAPPEN, OH MY GOD.
“ ITS SO HOT!” Someone said from the kitchen. This made Jay and I sprang apart and run to the kitchen. When we got to the kitchen, there was Brittany sprawled out on the floor, face down in just her tank and underwear clearly drunk still.
“ Brittany! Where’s your pants?!?! And what are you doing?!?” I said.
“ It’s too hot for pants!” Brittany shouted. We both just bust out laughing. This girl. Then we looked up and saw Nathan standing in the door way.
“ What’s going on?” He asked.
“ She’s too hot for pants.” I said before busting out laughing.
“ Oh I see.” Nathan said before he picked Brittany up bridal style.
“ OH MY HERO!” Brittany screamed.
“ Anytime babe.” Nathan said before he carried her back to her room.
Jay and I made our way back to the couch afterward we stopped laughing and continued to watch the movie. I cuddled my way up to his side and his warmth made me slowly drift off.
NEXT MORNING…
Jay’s POV
I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I got up and noticed Jenny was gone. I sat up and went to the kitchen to get some water.
“ Good morning sunshine.” Jenny said to me. She was standing in the entry way of the kitchen looking.
“ Morning.” I said then finished drinking my water and set the glass in the sink.
“ So I was thinking since everyone is still sleeping and probably will be for awhile since they all got plastered last night, we should go out and about for a couple of hours and look around… If you want.” She said.
“ I would love too. But I need to stop by my place and get change real quick and then we can go.” I said.
“ Ok sounds good.” She said.
I called for a van to bring us to my place. We got there and I changed quickly then we headed out. We just walked around window shopping for the most part. Then we came up to this Gelato place and decided to stop and get some ice cream. I got us our ice cream and we sat down and talked as we ate. Once we were finish I excused myself to use the restroom. When I came back I saw Jenny talking to some guy. He looked familiar and as I continued to walk towards them I noticed who it was, Finn Harries. I didn’t want to barge in on the conversation so I stay back until I saw him getting all touchy feely and started to out his hands on hers. I don’t know what came over me but I got extremely jealous. I couldn’t stand it anymore so I walked up to them. Jenny noticed I was there and she got up.
“ Oh hey Jay. Sorry how rude of me, I didn’t introduce you guys. This is Finn.” She said as she pointed to him.
“ Hey mate. I’m Finn.” He said to me.
“ Hey.” I said all flatly. Jenny gave me a nudge on the arm, telling me to be nice.
“ I’ve never got your name.” He said to me.
“ Oh right sorry. Its Jay… I’m Jenny’s boyfriend.” I said. The last part just slipped out. I look at Jenny and her eyes were all wide. Whoopsie.
Jenny POV
“ Oh right sorry. Its Jay… I’m Jenny’s boyfriend.” Jay said. I looked at him with my eyes all wide.
“ Wait, what?” Was all I could say. Jay just gave me a look and then looked back at Finn.
“ Oh well its nice to meet you Jay and you as well Jenny. I would love to stay and chat but I must get back.” Finn said before riding off on his skateboard. I just talked to a Harries. I freaking love London! Then I looked at back up at Jay. Damn his is really freaking tall.
“ What the hell was that?” I demanded.
“ What?” Jay said before he started to walk.
“ Don’t play dumb with me. You know what I’m talking about. You saying you were my boyfriend.” I said.
“ Oh right that. Yeah I don’t know what came over me. I just saw him talking to you and I guess I got a little jealous. I’m sorry I know we’ve only known each other for a few days but I’m already so comfortable with you, I can be myself around you, and well I like you.” He said.
I just stood there dumbfounded. I made Jay jealous and he likes me. Say what. I didn’t know what to do so I just hugged him. His hugs are amazing. I looked back up to him and stared into his eyes.
“ Look I like you too but I’m not ready to call you my boyfriend. Not that I don’t want to! But like you said we’ve only known each other for a couple days. Lets just hang out and see where it goes.” I said.
” That sounds fair.” He said before bringing me in for another hug. After that we headed back to my house before Jay had to go run some errands. Once we got back he gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek then he left. I felt myself blush but turned away into the house before he could see. I closed the door and leaned against it with the biggest smile on my face. London is the best city ever.
