Chapter 1

Posie's Pov

I was sitting on my bed, thinking about what my Dad told me earlier today.

flashback

"Posie can you please come here for a second, I need to talk to you"

"Okay coming dad"

I walked downstairs to see my Mom, Dad and The Alpha, James Beckett. He is always flirting with me and I hate when he does that.

"What's wrong daddy?"

"Hey baby girl please have a seat, I want to talk to you"

I took a seat next to my mom.

"Okay, so what I want to talk to you about is the next week there will be a wedding"

"Oh cool who's wedding is it"

"Oh well here's the thing, the wedding is for you and James. I want you and James to be mated by the time of the wedding"

What, no, what about my mate? What about my life?

"WHAT, NO I DONT WANT TO MARRY HIM I DON'T LIKE HIM!"

"Well you don't have a say in it and you will marry him whether you like it or not"

"But daddy I don't want to. I have a mate out there, what about him?"

"I don't care if you have a mate or not! When you do find him you will reject him so you can marry James"

"WHAT, NO I'M NOT GONNA REJECT MY MATE!"

"YOUR GONNA DO IT WHEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T CARE YOUR STILL GONNA MARRY JAMES"

"I HATE YOU" and with that I ran to my room crying my eyes out.

Flashback over.

So yeah with that leaves me in my room crying my eyes out.

I heard a knock "go away dad" but I heard my door open "its not your father sweetie" I tuned around to see my mom.

I ran to her, hugging her "oh mom why is he making me do this, I don't want to marry that this all I want is to find my mate and start a family with him and have a happy life. If I marry James that won't happen"

"I know baby that's why I'm gonna help you run away. So you can go find your mate and he can help you with what's going on okay"

"Mom are you sure. What will daddy say when he finds out you helped me run away"

"Don't worry about your father. All I want is that you don't marry him, because between me and you, I don't like him ether" she said as we both let out a small laugh

"Okay you get what you need like clothes and I will see if they can talk in the office so we can go through the front door and you will be free"

"Okay and Mom thank you for doing this for me"

"Anything for my little girl"

Afterwards, mom and I talked about our plan. She went down to do her part while I packed what I would need like food and clothes plus when I get far away I will need to get a knew phone.

My mom came back in my room telling its time to go and we need to hurry.

"I can't take you to the border because I told your dad that I needed to do something then I will be there so go before you get caught just know that I love you my sweet little girl"

"Oh mom I love you to and I promise I will call you when I get a new phone okay because I know if I keep this phone they will track me" 

We walked to the front door "well wish me luck, I will always love you mama"

"I will always love you my sweet little girl". I gave my mom one last kiss on the cheek and a hug goodbye.

I looked back one last time before running off to the border, god I'm gonna miss my mom and even though my dad is making me marry James I still gonna miss my daddy.
