Jacobi's P.O.V

I layed on my back while she took a shower. First night here and Noland has already been a jerk. I watched her as she walked out of the bathroom, with the white towel that was rapped around her body. Her silver grey hair hanged low and damp. It really made her look even prettier but where was her colour change going after all?

She gave me a soft smile as she walked inside the closet. She came out seconds later, wearing a tight fitting black shirt with black track pants like me. Black really was her colour. She joined me in bed and we both layed there in silence.

I turned to look at her. She layed flat on her stomach and had her hands under the pillow. She turned to look at me. Her eyes as bright as ever.

"I am cold" she whispered. "Can I please go to the fire place, I'll be back " she pleaded.

"Sure," I said softly knowing I couldn't help her feel warm because I myself was very cold.

I watched her dose off by the fireplace as expected. I slowly made my way towards her and scooped her up and placed her in bed again. She was indeed very warm. I cuddled up with her in my arms then got a little sleep my self.

I woke with a slight breeze hitting my face. I looked up and I saw Rosey leaning against the balcony outside. What was she up to?
I slowly walked over to her and grabbed my hoodie that she liked on the way.

"What are you up to?" I asked putting the hoodie around her shoulders.

"I had a dream but it was the same dream I had in the car but the calling was stronger." She turned to look at me." Jacobi I need to go there soon or I won't be able to hold it any longer. I need to know what is in that shack" she gave a pleading look.

"Okay fine we will go soon I first need to sort things out with Noland but you have to promise not to go there alone. Do you?" I questioned.

She hesitated " Okay fine I guess I could wait" she spoke disappointingly.

"Good now come back in it is freezing out here" It was obvious that if I could feel it so could she.

She got comfortable under the blankets. She breathed out a breath of relief indicating she was gonna fall asleep soon.

"So you were gonna tell me about why the wolves hate the Vampires so much" she said cuddling into my arms. I don't know how she kept doing this when I was cold as ice.

"Uh... now?" I asked.

"Yes please" she begged. I looked down at her she looked like the MiddleMist flower gorgeous but very dangerous. I sighed in defeat.

"Okay fine I'll tell you but only if you promise to go to sleep after this okay?" I reprimanded. She nodded like a little kid. God she was very cute.

"So this all began a while back like sixteen years ago, at this time the wolves were living in peace with Vampires but things fell apart and they fought against the VAMPIRES and most of them were killed during the war. And to this day they still blame us for the massacre of the wolves but on that very same day every other Vampire was badly wounded and many were left to die. But our kind could heal and replace the dead but the wolves had every thing to lose. And when our Eve wiped out their entire kingdom they had nothing left." There as a deafening silence in the room and we just stared at each other.

I could see the gears in her head were still working up questions.

"So your Eve killed a kingdom of wolves but you would kill anyone who dares to much as touch a Vampire. "She tried to understand.

"Well we are over protective of our kind" I defended.

"There is no-" she gasped and within a second she was on the balcony. I followed behind her.

"What is it?" I questioned. She pointed to somewhere in the woods.

"It calls for me" she whispered.

"Izzy I told you we couldn't do this now " I said.

"I know let's go sleep" she turned back to the room.

"Have you always been able to do that?" I asked stepping closer to her.

"Do what?" She asked.

"Speed?" I questioned.

"What speed?" She smiled. Has she really never..uh never mind.

"Come sleep, will you?" She motioned for me to come closer.

I watched her eyes flutter shut, her breaths became even and she fell into a light sleep. I traced my hand around her birth-mark and she let out a small groan. She was truly just like her mother.
