Lend Me Your Wings My Four-Legged Friend.

Your hooves pound against the dirt,
Your love banishes away my hurt.
You protect me with a silent heart,
My smile golden, let us never part.

You gallop and take the great leap,
Your thoughts inside so very deep.
You take great lengths and strides,
You are the one that always decides.

You, My Four-Legged Friend,
Your wings of clear you do lend.
Your crystal wings made of a silent thought,
Your ways for many years have been taught.

You are God's beautiful creature,
You have been my faithful teacher.
Your soft coat of many shades;
Your dark mane slowly cascades.

You are my best friend,
All my life I have to spend;
Spend on making everything perfect,
So I will gain your utter respect.

I love you so, you must lend me your heart,
This is ever so true, we shall not ever part.
So you must Lend Me Your Wings, My Four-Legged Friend;
