As the autumn wind flew around the city like doves, Makoto slowing walked up the stairs of the building she worked in. She simply told herself,‘What's the point of living when you're not even grateful for it? When you're not even enjoying it?’
Every step she took, she got closer to the edge, closer to the thing could end everything they once worried about, until they reach the end, multiple voices try to convince her to stop, but it was no use, if they did not seen life as something worthy, how could life seen her as something worthy?
As the people from behind her and under her kept shouting for them to stop and think again, she admired the view, the attention she once ever seek, but not like this, not like this.
She saw the moon in the sky, shining ever so brightly, Maybe one day she might reach it by flying up in the sky like doves being free. Then she realized, this will be the last time she witness the moon in the sky.
As she looked back, seeing people with faces of panicking, pitying, worrying. She said her final words,‘The moon shall has it's last rising.’
She fell off, knowing that she'll soon take her last breath and be free from such a cruel world, but as she was falling, her life flashed before her eyes, ‘wait, no, I never wanted this, I never wanted it to end like this!’ But another thought stopped her panicking,‘You were lucky enough to even be standing here on earth, now look at you, going to the end of your road so fast.’
Before she could even think of something in response, she took her last breath on her 18th birthday.
