*Christmas Eve, Evening* (5:00)
"Mommy" i heard Trixy yell
I chuckled holding my glass of red wine
"Trixy don't touch the tree" Austin said going to pick her up
She laughed and giggled
I felt someone tug on my pants, i looked down and my beautiful baby boy was there
I bent down to be at his level
"Hi sweetie" i said putting my hand on his back
"Toys" he said pointing downstairs
"Alright buddy lets go get some toys" i said smiling and holding his hand to walk downstairs
We got downstairs, Aidan ran over and picked up the trucks, he had trouble getting all so i chuckled and went to get them for him, once i did he crawled upstairs with me behind him.
I put the toys on the ground in the living room next to Trixy who was playing barbies with Austin
"Good boy" i said patting his head them chuckled
Trixy, Aidan and Austin playing while i went over and sat beside Mia and my mom
I looked over at the other couch and Alex was talking with his mom and brother. I smiled at them talking and just continued staring at him
He glanced over then looked back at his mom and brother then looked back at me like he was double taking
He smiled then went back to talking
"Crystal?" My mom asked
"Yeah sorry what?" I asked snapping back to life
"We asked if you wrist was better" Mia repeated
"Still hurts a lot, bringing all those toys up while holding a glass of wine made it hurt a bit but i'll be fine" i said
"Well hopefully it gets a full rest tonight" mom said
"Yeah" i smiled looking at how happy Aidan was
"Supper will be ready in 10" Aunt Lisa said
I looked over at Grandad and he was sitting in his chair smiling while watching the kids
I got up and went to sit on the rocking chair
"You guys made beautiful children" he said
"Thank you" i smiled
"Trixy is the cutest and Aidan is gonna grow up to be just like his dad" he said
I smiled
"They are really cute, i love Trixy's laugh" i said
"It's such a cute laugh then makes me smile" he said
"Daddy stop!" Trixy yelled and Austin giggled
"He's so good with her" he said
"I know, he is gonna be protecting her just like an older brother would" i said
"He is happy with her" i said
"I wonder what it would be like if Belle was still here" he said
I sighed
"Not like this" i said
"Supper!" Aunt Lisa calls
