Jay's POV
I swear i heard my heart stop when i heard Ara's words leave her mouth.
"Tell me, how should i love you?" Ara looked up at me, smiling warmly whilst squeezing my hand. As comforting it may seem in my heart, my brain made me instantly push her away.
"S-Sorry, it's reflexes.." I bit my lip gently.
"Don't panic, it's all alright. I'll be patient." She gave me a comforting smile again.
I gulped a little and looked down. "This is gonna be a little hard for me, Ara. As much as I like you, you might give up at the end of this damn week."
"I doubt that." She replied instantly, tilting my head up with her index finger and thumb; i swear i felt my heart stop for a moment. "I think that.. Now that i know your past, and i can get to know what your boundaries are, and what you're comfortable with, that only brings me closer to you. I want to get to know you."
My breathing hitched as i looked up at her. "Please be patient?"
"Always."

Ara's POV
"Always." I smiled gently at him, before shuffling closer to him. Unexpectedly, he slowly wrapped an arm around me to bring me that tiny bit closer. I'm successfully getting closer to him, and i'm really proud of him for that. "I'm willing to wait for you, Jay. No matter what you do from now on, i'm gonna be by your side when you need it."
