It Takes A Spark (Story 1)

Chapter 3 Part 2

A few Minutes Later...

Mako and Ken had gotten the front seats of the car, Sapphire and Shya sitting in the middle behind them, and Levi and Spark sitting in the very back. Mako used the GPS on Bee's phone to track down where Tron and his goons were hiding. It wasn't far, but it'd still take a bit to get there. Spark stared out the window while the others were talking. Levi looked over at Spark and pokes his arm, tilting his head in confusion

"So...does it do anything cool?" the boy questioned the blond. Spark looked over at his friend and smiled before shaking his head.

"Nah, not that I know of. I'll have to check it out in my free time." Levi shakes his head and leans over to him.

"Come ooon, it probably has to do something," he complained as he grabbed Spark's arm. The blond tugged his arm away in response.

"Don't touch it. Besides, Ken is the one that got it for me. Ask him." Levi barely opened his mouth before Ken shouted from up front.

"Don't ask me shit, I'm busy up here!" Levi makes a 'bwomp' sound with his mouth before sitting back in his seat and looking out the window. Not even a few seconds later, Levi jumped back up.

"GET DOWN!" he shouted as a metal claw came crashing through the back window. Everyone ducked down and Mako swerved the car slightly before regaining control.

"What the hell was that?!" Sapphire screamed as she looked around at the others. Everyone in the car picked up on some high-pitched laughter, Spark immediately taking note.

"Rosie." Shya looked back at Spark, confused and surprised.

"THAT'S ROSIE?!" Shya questioned as Spark shook his head.

"Long story, but I can't explain the upgrades. We gotta handle her-" he said as a metal claw crashed through the window on Spark's side, grabbing him and throwing him out of the window. Spark held onto the outside of the car door as he looked up at the top of the car. Rosie had some metallic arms with claws for hands and a metal tail resembling a cat's tail with a razor blade tip.

"Hiiii Sparky~" she cooed before smiling deviously, using her tail to swing at Spark's arm. He let go of the car door with one arm and used his prosthetic arm to block the razor. His prosthetic was able to handle the blade well before throwing the razor off. He grabbed the door and jumped on top of the car, trying to balance himself as he looked down at the driver's side mirror.

"Mako, Keep this thing steady!" Mako nodded.

"Got it!" Spark looked back at Rosie, who was sitting on the roof of the car and smiling a bit.

"You weren't supposed to live- obviously. I knew I should've gone for the head," she said as she dashed to Spark, slashing towards him as he formed an X with his arms to block the claws. She leaned forward, giggling quietly.

"I noticed how you killed my teammates. Shame. But you're in luck~" she said as she held the razor blade up to Spark's throat. He leaned back, his foot slipping off the edge of the roof.

"Hey Fugly!" a voice shouted. Rosie turned around quickly before receiving a bat to the face, causing her to fly off of the roof of the car. Spark sat up, looking to see where the voice came from and being met by Levi sitting on the door window. He waved a bit before holding onto the roof to maintain balance.

"Levi?! What the hell are you doing?! Get back inside!" Spark yelled as he crouched down on the top of the car to regain balance. Levi scoffed.

"YOU get back inside! We'll worry about her soo-" he started, getting cut off by a sudden grab on the shoulder by a claw, dragging him out the car and dangling him off the side of the road. In the mirror, Mako saw Levi out in the open before swerving the vehicle to throw Rosie off balance, leading the claw to throw Levi back in the car. Spark also fully regained balance and looked down into the vehicle on Shya's side.
