I take my seat next to Hailey as  the bell ring and students rush into class. Mr. Bonnet walks in and the class fall silent.

"So, we're going to discuss our term project today. I'll start by announcing your partners that I have picked out in advance."

The whole class groans. I turn my head to my right, giving Hailey a pout. She rolls her eyes as she faintly point at Mr. Bonnet. He then announce the partners as he said he would and my name comes last.

"...and Isla, you'll be with..." He points to the back of the class. I look back and just as i thought, i get the laziest student in class, Maggie. But, as i sigh, Mr. Bonnet speaks again.

"Solomon"

Every eye turns to me and I gasped quitely. Solomon Park is the most unreachable person in the whole school. He's a model and also an actor, so he's not on the same level as anyone here. He barely has friends at school, because everyone is scared that they'll never match up to his celebrity friends. Hailey nudges me on the shoulder with a mischevious smile on her face and it pulls me out of my thoughts. I gulped hard and everyone stops staring.

Time moves slowly as Mr. Bonnet explained the technicalities of the project. We're supposed to write a report about plants, but i don't really get the details, I'll just ask Hailey later.

The class ends and I approach Solomon to arrange when we're going to do the project. I don't want to waste any time, since this project is important for my grades, but mostly because I just want to get it done as quickly as possible, so I don't have to be around Solomon for too long. I know that sounds kind of mean, but honestly, I find Solomon intimidating. Well, most students do.

"Hey, Lomon. I think it's best if we start the project early. Can we meet up afterschool today?" I ask as I stand infront of his desk. He leans back onto his chair and stretch his arms up.

"Today? Sorry....Layla?" He asks with his brows clenched together. "Isla," I correct him. "Oh yeah, Isla. I have a shoot this afternoon."

It's no surprise that he's busy. I want to ask him when he's free, but I don't know why, i feel like I'm interfering. When I talk to him, I feel like I'm talking to a celebrity.

"That's fine, Lomon." I turn my back to him and walk towards Hailey. "Wait, Isla!" He says, yelling a little, making every eye in class turn to us. "Why didn't you ask me when i'm free? You want to do the project early right?" He said.

"Right, yeah. When are you free, Lomon?" My voice trembles a little, aware of my classmates staring at me. "Tommorow." He answers. I nod and sit next to Hailey again.

'Til tommorow, then.
I hope we'll be good partners, Solomon.
