Yawning, lena opens her eyes as she rubs them, her eyes now adjusting to see that they were still driving.
"Where are we going?"
"I'm gonna work a job."
"Oh, what is it? K0s? Dog solider?"
"Not that kind."
They stop by this neighborhood as ant parked, stepping out of the car as Lena does the same, following him around as she tried to understand what he was doing.
After a while, he walked to this one house, knocking on the door as a man walks out and ant stands up more straight.
"Hey sir, my names Anthony, and I've been on the road for a while, I was wondering if there was any work I could do for you to get some money for the road?"

Lena slowly understands, but not fully as the man smiles and tells him to mow the lawn, causing ant to thank him and run to the lawnmower, yanking on the cord as it started.
He starts walking around with it, making sure everything was clean and tidy.
"So, you do side jobs?"
"Yeah.."
"why?"
"well, I don't want to steal EVERYTHING, sometimes I like earning my keep. It makes me feel better, helping people with daily chores that aren't usually our problems. For us, this is nothing, but for some people, they could have trouble doing this because of other things they have to do."
Lena nods as she points to the car.
"I'm going to do some research, and wait for you."
"The keys are in my pocket, turn the ac on."
Lena grabbed the keys from his pocket as she runs to the car, opening it as she sat down, turning the car on only enough to really get the ac going.

She grabs her computer and starts typing away, realizing that there wasn't anything on the town they were in right now, but there was at least 2 in the next town over, causing her to save the link.
Anthony pants as the boiling sun hits his skin, causing him to toss his overcoat, keeping his grey shirt on as he continued his work, finishing rather quickly as he puts the lawnmower away, walking to the door once more as he knocks.
"I'm done sir.."
The man walked out as he looked to his lawn, smiling at ants work, going into his wallet, handing ant some money.
"Thank you so much sir."
"Thank you too, young man. This is good work."
Anthony waved as he ran to the car, opening the door as he starts driving, going to the other houses and doing the same thing.

A lot of time later, lena realized that Anthony had been doing these jobs for a little over 4 hours.
He runs into the car as he grabs his wallet once more, putting money in it as it was almost filled at this point.
"I think that's enough, at least for this week ant."
"Yeah, probably.. But money goes quickly."

Opening the doors to a new motel, they throw their bags some place noticeable as both of them flop onto the beds, as Anthony takes the money out of his wallet to try and sort it all out and organize it.
His father had taught him how to do so, and it kinda helps it from getting all over the place or it helps so you're not going through money to try and find that one 5 dollar bill.

Lena yawns as she looks at the time, it wasn't that late but she had been tired weirdly enough, I guess that's what happens when you don't get caffeine.

They both finish what they were doing and layed down, snuggling into the sheets as they both turned their lights off, sleeping in.
It wasn't a good idea, but no one was there to stop them, and to be honest, I would say.. They deserve the sleep.
