Your hands are tough, but they're where mine belong"
You groaned and stretched, your body soar from bruises and nonstop, tough training. Everything ached. Everything. You rolled your neck a few times and rolled your shoulders, trying to ease yourself of this discomfort. You groaned in annoyance as your attempts to relieve yourself failed and you plopped down onto a large pile of pillows. You sighed and dropped your head back, only to raise your eyebrows in wonder. From your upside down vision you saw Altair on the set of pillows behind you, completely passed out, his face exhaustion itself.
That's when you got the great idea to scare awake the sleeping Assassin. There was a saying that said let sleeping dogs lie, but not one about Assassins. Once he was finished giving you a scolding look, you'd propose an idea to him. You slowly moved over to him, trying to be as silent as possible so he wouldn't wake. Just as you were about to shout loudly, his eyes whipped open, scaring you. You yelped and scooted backwards, Altair snorting as you stared at him.
"You're weird. You were asleep! Were you even asleep?" You asked accusingly, moving back over to him. You two stared at each other before you began laughing. He smiled a small amounted and looked at you while you laughed.
"What were you waking me for?" he asked, no moving from his sprawled position. You snickered and stood, stretching and shrugging before jumping on top of him, pinning him to the pillows. He groaned and simply laid there as all the wind was pushed from him.
"Do you remember when we would do this as kids?" you asked, making yourself more comfortable on top of him. Altair nodded his words coming out nearly breathless.
"Yes, I do. But (y/n) you were lighter when we were four." he said, trying to push himself up, which you knew he could but you didn't allow him to. You rolled your eyes and pulled his hood back, leaning over to look him in the eyes.
"Are you calling me fat?" you teased sticking out your tongue, knowing he wasn't. His face became panicked, knowing how women get if you indeed call them fat.
"No!" he said quickly in reply. "But could you get off me please?" and you did, dropping down next to him, "What is it you wanted to ask?"
"Well don't sound too excited." you grumbled and rolled your eyes. "I was wondering if you would like to do something with me this joyous and boring night?"
"Depends on what it is." he said, very serious. You nudged him and he chuckled softly.
"You look tired and I most definitely know I am. So I had an idea. There's a hot spring a little bit away from here and know hear on aches help. So... maybe you'd like to go?" you said, raising you eyebrow at Altair, smirking as he pondered the thought.
"Hmm..." Altair mumbled, seeing nothing wrong in going. "I'll go." you were speechless, staring at him, because that was not the answer you were expecting.
"Really? Uh..." you kept you cool about it, standing and nodding. "Let's just meet up in half of an hour and we'll go." you turned and tripped over a pillow. Okay... cool not kept. You stood and smiled, brushing hair from your face. "It's all good. See you outside!" you said, not turning to see Altair chuckling softly to himself.
~
It was time for you and Altair to meet up and you were wait for him at the gates, arms crossed. You grumbled something under your breath about how the ass was making you wait. Just as you were about to go to bed, seeing he was not coming, Altair landed next to you. You were surprised, so he frightened you, but you rolled your eyes and gave him a look.
"Took you long enough." you hissed at him, Altair putting his hands up in defense.
"Well fine. Be that way. I think I'll just go back to my room and forget all--" you grabbed his arm and groaned, pulling him in the direction of the springs.
"Just quit the dramatics Altair." you grumbled, the man chuckling behind you and going with. You lead him out of the small Assassin compound and the village before it, then down a bunch of paths before you were finally there. It was a small pool, steam rising from it. You grinned and released his arm before beginning to undo your robes, and taking off all your equipment. Altair widened his eyes and covered them like a child as you began to shed clothing.
"What are you doing?" he shouted, turning his back to you as he heard the sound of clothing dropping to the ground.
"What do you mean 'what am I doing'? I'm going into the hot springs! You didn't think we'd go in fully clothed did you?" you snickered and jumped into the springs, fully soaking Altair. As you your head emerged from the water, you sighed contently and looked at Altair who still had his eyes covered and back to you. "Oh Altair, don't be a little baby! The water is great and it feels amazing." you stressed the word and Altair groaned.
"Just don't look." he grumbled beginning to take off his equipment and robes. You got a glance at his butt and tried to contain your laughter. Your eyes moved up t the sky and you snorted.
"It's a full moon tonight." you mumbled, trying to keep the smile off your face. Altair looked up and nodded.
"It is. I--" he finally got what you were saying. "I will not hesitate to murder you, (y/n)."
"Murder a woman?" you asked with a faulty gasp.
"You're a woman?" he snickered in reply, you splashing water at him.
"Just hurry up and get in here." you now grumpily mumbled, Altair pausing.
"Turn away first!" he said, waving his hand at you. You put your hands up in defense and looked at the rocks behind you. After a few moments of the rest of his clothing coming off. He joined you in the water and sunk down into the water so everything below the waist was submerged.
"So? Was it worth getting naked?" you teased, poking his bare chest. He smiled and nodded.
"It does feel pretty good." Altair answered, you getting a victorious grin on your face.
"Isn't my advice the best?" you asked, sinking down in the water. Altair rolled his eyes before shutting them, sinking into the water so that only his nose and above were out of the water. You roe your eyebrow and leaned against the rocks and sighed contently. It was a few moments before either of you said anything but finally Altair pulled his face out of the water and cleared his throat.
"Thank you for taking me here." he said you lazily smiling and nodding.
"Anytime. If you ever need to do something relaxing, just ask me."
"You? But you're the least relaxed person I've ever met." he snickered, you splashing more water at him and laughing. Then it became a splashing war between you two, both of your laughter echoing through the night. The two of you slowly got closer, until Altair's hand wrapped his hands around your wrist and stopped you. His grin was wide not noticing how close you two were. You grinned cockily and Altair widened his eyes, letting your wrists go apologizing.
"It's okay." you chuckled and laughed. When Altair smiled in return you sent a massive splash at him, he doing the same. And this time when the two of you got close there were no apologies. Just locked eyes and a passionate kiss. Altair had you pinned against one of the rocks at the edge of the springs and in a matter of seconds had his lips upon yours again.
When he pulled back he was panting. "Should we be doing this?" he asked, wondered aloud. You smirked and gave a small chuckle.
"Why the hell not?"
