Hey guys It's me the author. I know I said I would wait until one story was done, but I think that makes my writers block worse. So this is my solution! Anyway enjoy the chapter!
Izuku's POV:
I walked an alley way hoping to find my missing nephew. That's when I saw him, I ran up to him and started telling him that everything will be fine, that I was sorry for not stepping in sooner. I felt guilt, I was always busy with work. I never stopped when I worked in America, to help an old friend get stronger and pose as a villain to get some others out of that life. I didn't stop when I came back home either, I didn't visit my sister who got married and now has a four year old child.I didn't visit my idiot brother who was pissed at our mother for giving us up. I knew why she did that, but he didn't and he probably took his anger out on the boy. I then look at the boy and he seems wary of what he touches so I figured it was a five finger activation type. "Here use these" I said handing him a pair of cloves that have a finger ripped of each of them. He then looks at me and takes them carefully and puts them on, he try's saying something but I stop him. "Please nephew don't try to speak you're still in shock. Let's get you to a hospital." I said picking him up carefully as to not scare him.
When we arrived at the hospital we were greeted by doctors, I told them he was in shock, and we needed to see what his quirk was. I had a feeling the reason my brother and almost all of his family died was because of the boy getting his quirk. I wouldn't hold it against him however, my brother deserved death, always taking his anger out on others, his own family, his son. As the doctors did their thing I was contemplating on weather or not to raise my nephew or have my sister Inko do it.
I decided that Inko would raise him better than I could seeing as how she's a stay at home mom, while her husband worked as a hero. I think he has a sister as well, but that can wait. I look down at the boy in my lap and I ask, "What's your name my boy?" He looks up at me with tears coming down his face. "Te-Tenko, Tenko S-Shim-Shimura sir." I give the boy a hug and tell him, "Well I'm Bane, and I'm sorry for not finding you sooner."
I saw him look back up at me wide eyed, his eyes held a small bit of shine in them. "Your the mercenary hero?!" He asked me, to which I gave a hearty chuckle and said, "Yes! I am, but my real name is Izuku Shimura." Just when I thought his eyes couldn't get wider they did, "Your my Uncle?!" I nod and deepen the hug. That's when the doctor came back in with the report, he looked a bit disturbed. But I promised myself that I will make sure that my nephew has a good life.
"So doctor, what's his quirk?" I asked him. He looked at me then the boy, and said, "His quirk is quite destructive, it's called decay, he can turn anything he touches with five fingers into dust." The doctor said a bit worried. "My what a powerful quirk. You could be a great hero with that power." I told Tenko, the doctor continued, "But you will have to train it everyday if that's what you want. Because it decays everything and anything that's touching his target at the moment."
As the doctor continued going over his check up, I felt something wet on my shirt. I figured it was Tenko so I gently brushed his hair, and told him it's not his fault, and that accidents happen. After awhile he fell asleep, and we were cleared to leave. After we left the hospital I called Inko. "Hello?" I heard her voice on the line. "Hello Inko it's me Izuku." I had barely said my name when she went '"Izuku?! Brother are you alright you never call while you're on duty?! Did something happen?! Are you hurt?! Where are you?!"
I sighed internally and answered her questions, "Yes it's me, Yes I'm alright, yes something did happen and I'll explain later, no I'm not, and I'm right outside." I have never seen my sister open a door and run down some stairs faster in my life. I had barely gotten out of my truck, when she tackled me into a hug. "How you're able to do that to someone with a strength based quirk I'll never know honey." I heard my brother in-law Hisashi say.
I get up and put Inko down, I look at Hisashi and give him a small wave. "We need to go inside and talk about somethings." I said while getting Tenko out of his seat, seeing as how he was till very much asleep. "Who's that?" I hear my sister say, I looked at her and told her that it would be best said inside. Once inside I looked around the room and saw a small child with green curly hair. She was looking at me, and I looked at her.
I saw the little gears of her mind turning as she looked between me and my sister. That's when I saw a little light bulb go off inside her mind. "I know you! You're the mercenary hero, Bane!" She ran over to him with a notebook and started bouncing, "can you sign my notebook?" I nodded, but then motioned to the couch, saying that I will do it after we have a talk. Once everyone was seated I told them that this was their nephew.
I explained everything, to how his quirk activation, how he was treated by their brother, how he can't take care of him. After the talk I laid Tenko down on the couch. And walked over to my niece room and knocked on her door. She opened it, and let me in, I looked around and saw All might stuff everywhere, I was kinda freaked out by how much there was. "So I take it All might is your favorite?" She nodded happily while getting her notebook.
After I signed it she gave me a smile so bright I had to look away. 'If anyone were to hurt her I'll break them.' I thought. I was then pushed out of the room, by her. The two adults were in the kitchen making something discussing what they just learned. I simply made my way back over to the couch and sat down next to little Tenko. I fell asleep shortly after.
