Chapter 1 : first day of sophomore year

" why do you gotta be so rude ? ,don't you know I'm human too"

my alarm goes off and I groan today's the first day of sophomore year great! ( note sarcasm) the only reason I'm happy is that I get to see my best friend Caleb

I get up and choose my clothes I ended up choosing a cream puff skirt and a gold spaghetti strap shirt I curled my hair and put my flower head piece on and did my makeup after I was done my phone beeped

Caleb💕😊 ~ I'm outside hurry up we're going to be late!

I grab my back pack and run downstairs to see my mom cooking

" Bye mom going with Caleb!" I yell and slam the door , there I see Caleb in his sliver Cadillac waiting I get in the car quickly

" Well took you long enough" Caleb said

" Aww , I missed you too Caleb" I say with a giggle

" Me too , now let's get going don't want to be late" he says

After 10 minutes we got to school we both get out the car and start heading inside the building

" Do you think we have classes together this year?" Caleb asks

" Don't we always ? " I say with a smirk

" You always have honor classes Kayla while I have the normal ones " he explained

We keep walking till we reach the main office.

" Kayla Espinoza , and Caleb Perez " I say to the secretary

" Here you go sweetie " she says and hands us our schedules , we leave and wait in the halls

" Schedule check " Caleb calls out

"What's your first hour? " I ask looking at my own schedule

" World history you?" He says

" Algebra II " I say and pout

Caleb just chuckles

" Let me see your schedule " he says and takes mine and scans it

" We only have biology together and that's last hour " he says

" You have honors bio ? " I ask

" Apparently I do " he laughs

"Well I have to go my class is E3204 and were on the west side " I say and start to walk away

" Okay then bye Kayla , see you at lunch! " He yells

I barley got to my class on time I hurry and choose a seat

" Kayla is that you?" The girl next to me asks

" Oh my god Melissa I haven't seen you since 8th grade year" I say

We keep on talking till the teacher gets there.

" Hello class my name is mrs. Burgundy but you can call me mrs. B and welcome to algebra II " she says

Math is not my best subject but I get through it my next 3 classes went bye fast and it's finally lunch I check my phone and have 3 messages for Caleb

Caleb💕😊 ~ did you make it to your class on time ?

Caleb💕😊 ~ geometry is so hard! And why don't you text back? 😑

Caleb💕😊 ~ where do you want to go for lunch ?

The last one was 2 minutes ago so I text back
