Just your luck

You had been friends with Luz, typically called Luz the human but she really isn't proud of just being called a human.
"Hey Y/N! You wanna get some apple blood before we head on this bounty?" Luz snaps you out of your trance with her cheerful response.
"Oh, uhm yeah sure!" You said smiling lightly.
You sit down on the gross benches that are next to the only shop that has apple blood, you sip onto the small straw that was given.
"god, that is really good." You say while fainting jokingly.
"Haha!" Luz spurts apple blood out of her mouth from laughing.
"Ok, lets go now! The ship for that bounty hunting list is leaving!" You pick up Luz by the arm while she wipes herself off.
you get a chilling sensation from the boat, like something's lurking over you as you walk up to it.
You shake off that feeling, some buff guy starts explaining the rules of the ship and how to catch the monster they'd been hunting for.
You and Luz perform all your task's quickly, so the captain gives you the rest of the day to explore the ship.
You and Luz stumble into the captains room to snoop for snacks since you were hungry.
You turned the room's shabby light on only to reveal tons of the emperor's coven merchandise and sigils all over the room.
A golden masked figure approaches behind you, holding you captive against your own will.
Your mouth held over with a cloth, as you drift away into sleep slowly as you see Luz trying to fight them off.
Somehow, it felt comforting. Being held in someone's arms, you knew they were the enemy and it was wrong to think that. But they felt warm and safe.
You pass it out and are woken up by hints of boiling water hitting your arm on the sandy shore, and you see the golden masked figure sitting , with their head down, muttering profanity's and such.
"Hmm, what's wrong golden guy?" you say slurring your words due to the sleeping gas still have a tad effect on you.
"Oh, you." They perks their head up a little and lunge towards you.
"YOU RUINED MY CHANCES OF GETTING THAT STUPID HUMAN!" He yells at you, grabbing you by the collar of your now, sort of dingy uniform.
"What? What did i do?!?" You yell back angrily.
"..." The golden masked now boy, from what your assuming from his voice, stays silent while you hear small sniffles from under his mask.
"Uhm.." you respond confused.
He lets go of your collar and lays down on the sand muttering about how he's gonna get fired and his career as the golden guard is over.
"Hey..what's wrong?" You say leaning towards him.
"Nothing.." He says trying to wipe his tears even though his mask is on.
"Alright, well im going to be leaving now so uh." You say slowly walking away.
"alright fine! I'm just trying to find someone to blame. My uncle entrusted me with trying to capture that stupid human, lard or whatever her name is! He's gonna be disappointed if I come back empty handed." He spurts out grabbing your hand, trying to get you to listen.
"wait wait wait, who's your uncle?" You say confused.
"E-emperor Belos.." He says with a boasting voice.
"WHAAA! YOUR UNCLE IS THE EMPEROR BELOS?" You lean towards his gold mask with excitement.
"Back off! And, yeah he is." He says.
"DISTRACTION!" Luz pops out of nowhere and catches her breath from her invisibility spell and pushes hunter and pulls you onto the small boat hidden behind a rock on the island.
"Hey WAIT! Don't leave me here, I thought we were, friends." Hunters voice trails slower and he sighs sadly.
You frown and just look forward to not see him.
