I stood still as I feared to make a movement that would trigger him to do anything to the kids.

The kids cried as their tears ran down their face. Their eyes screamed for help as they stared right at me, "well isn't it Emmeline, Emmeline to the rescue. You surprised us by killing off our strongest men, well you didn't actually kill him you played in the act to distract him." The guy said with a chuckle.

"Let them go, they have nothing to do with anything." I said trying to calm the situation. "That's where you're wrong, you see these kids are collateral for us but for their father it's his legacy. So this is what going to happen, you're going to come with me and the kids. Their father will see his kids and see that he shouldn't make any risky decisions and when I feel we got far enough I'll let them go and me and you will return to Chris." He explained.

Chris...Chris this...Chris that...

I was tired of hearing his name.

I looked over at Val's oldest son and noticed him trying to signal me on the low. He pointed to the dresser that was near me, he then use his hand to symbolize as a gun. I straight away figure it out, Val must have hidden a gun away just in case anything. Even his kids know where it would be. "okay, nothing needs to get to crazy. I just want the kids to be safe, so as long as you promise me that they'll be safe I shall go peacefully and won't cause any trouble.

The guy smiled and nodded his head. "Very good, now move more towards your left so the kids can head out and you right behind them so I can keep a eye on you.

You had to be joking, I walked over closer to the dresser and faced my back to it. His attention went over to the kids, giving me a brief moment to open the drawer and feel around for a gun. My fingers touched the cold gun and quickly took it out and place it in the back of my pants and used my shirt to hid it.

The guy grabbed hold of all the kids and pushed them to start walking. As he held the gun pointed at us, his eyes looked over to me and smirked. "Go on, right behind them." He said as he waved his gun at me.

I rolled my eyes and followed behind the kids. The house was quiet, everyone must be outside watching. Waiting

"Move it!" The guy yelled as he pushed me with the tip of the gun to move faster. My eyes scanned around to figure out what I could do to get these kids to safety. My eyes looked around and noticed another one of Chris's men came walking over to us. "We have a car ready to do, the others will stay behind until we get far enough." The guy said to the first guy. I needed to figure out a way to get the kids out of her and fast but I just didn't know what to do. My eyes shifted to the door making my self come to a stop, sander's body was gone.

"Come on move it!" The first guy yelled as he pushed me making me almost trip, I turned around and faced the guy. I was annoyed and stressed out that all I could think about was kicking his ass, but I knew to well that if I acted out things could turn real quick. "What? You think you're all that now because you found out who your daddy is?" He then hit me across the face with the bottom of the gun sending pain right across my face making me fall to the ground.

"Emmeline!" The kids yelled to me as they tried to come over to me but was stopped when he pointed the gun at them making them stop in fear.

"You three stay where you are or I will put a bullet right throw everyone's head!" He threatened as he pointed a gun at the kids. I spit out the taste of blood out of my mouth and waved my hands at the kids to let them know I was okay. The kids are scared, I needed to get them away quickly before anything.

"Look I told you they have nothing to do with anything, just take me and leave them be. No one is here to stop you, everyone is out, I was taking care of the kids." I said making the guy look down at me and back up at the kids. "What is Chris going to say that you're waisting time on kids when you should be only worrying about taking me to him? Hmm?" I asked making the guy double think.
