no pov: everyone was doing something to pass the time as they waited for the hosts to come up with the next challenge. lollipop was busy advertising her fork repellent, flower was showing other objects her fashion line, blocky was chatting about pranks with woody, and everyone else was doing practically nothing.
"ooh! i know..." four says to X. X sips more of their juice and replies. "whats your idea four?" "lets do a challenge where the floor is lava!" four exclaims. X looks over to four. "is that really fair though?" "oh, you're right.. but it would be exciting!" four sighs. X looks over to the contestants. "well, i guess.."
four got up from where they were sitting, and walked over to all the contestants. "its time for the challenge!" four smiles. flower stops blabbing on about her fashion line just to ask, "whats the challenge?" and looks over to four. four announces, "the challenge will be a game of the floor is lava! but, the floor is actually lava!" everyone starts talking to each other, while leafy was standing behind all the commotion, panicking about dying.

but then, leafy had an idea! she was still friends with firey, so she'd team up with him, since he could just carry her while in the lava! this would be easy. leafy walks into the crowd, searching for firey, but he wasn't there. so thats ok, she'll just ask four about it and if hes dead she can have him brought back! so thats what she did.
"hey four? i have a question." leafy approached four. "oh, hello leafy! whats the matter?" four asks. "have you seen firey? i was looking for him but he isnt around here.." leafy frowns, glancing at the crowd one more time to see if she missed him. "oh, no i haven't. maybe he's dead? i'll bring him back," four puts his hand out to respawn him but, nothing happened. "well- it seems like he's still alive. i cant do much about him not being here, but he'll definitely be up for elimination if he doesn't get here soon enough."
firey's pov:
four said the challenge would be the floor is lava and we'd have to survive actual lava. no problem for me but i don't want to go back to everyone. they're all gonna be like: "OMG FIREY!! CAN YOU CARRY ME SO I WIN?" but everyone is so heavy. i don't know, i just..
i started to break down, no tears, just really sad. but then i heard leafy, my best friend- possibly the only person who can make me feel better.

"FIREY?" i heard leafy call out. i got up from behind the mountain and peaked to see leafy. "FIREY QUICK! FOUR SAID YOU'RE GONNA BE ELIMINATED IF YOU DONT PARTICIPATE!" leafy looked over to me, still shouting.
