Your POV

Upon reaching the edge of Manglewood, you were glad to hear the familiar barks of Oddsock. You'd now be walking along the unfamiliar territory of the Ziggurat, so it was nice to have a companion.

You stepped to let Oddsock catch up to you before continuing.

The closer you got to the Ziggurat, the colder it got. You wrapped your arms over your chest, trying to preserve what little body heat you had left. It didn't work very well, but it was better than nothing, so you continued.

When you finally reached the Ziggurat, you were glad to find that it was warmer. And luckily for you, Papal Mache was waiting in plain sight. Although, he seemed to be muttering about "goose feathers" and "the Newton." So it was a little weird.

You edged closer to him, enough to the point where he spotted you. He looked at you, then down at Oddsock, and smiled.

"Ah, you must be Bunkum's new hero!  Have you come to awaken the Toggle?" Papal Mache hummed.

"Uh, yeah. So... where are the marbles?"

"Ah yes, the three marbles. One is in the furnace; you'll need the yeti for that one. Second is used as the eye for a giant mechanical dragon! Not practical, but fascinating no? Last is trapped in the labyrinth, you'll need to help guide it out of there," Papal Mache explained, looking a little sick at the sound of "the yeti."

"Okay... Well, how about the yeti gets to work on the one in the furnace while we help the one through the labyrinth?"

"Sounds good," Papal responded with a small nod. With that, he pulled a lever which opened a door that revealed the yeti. He explained to the yeti what he had to do, while sneezing here and there, before turning back tk you.

"The yeti is very reliable, will have marble in no time! Let's go to the labyrinth now," Papal hummed, sneezing at the end. You glanced up at the yeti before nodding. And with that, you, Papal Mache and Oddsock made your way to the labyrinth while the yeti went through the furnace.

Newton's POV

With the help of the yeti, Y/n would get two marbles in one! How lucky!

He loved how smart and clever Y/n was, using what they had to their advantage. It made him glad to see he had chosen such a reliable person.

Then he frowned. He wouldn't have needed a reliable person if he had just been smart in the first place. Then he regretted the thought. Everything might've went wrong, but at least he had the chance to meet Y/n. He just hoped that they could still be friends after this...
