"We have to tell them today." I said placing my hand in Charlie's as we sat on my bed discussing how we were going to tell our parents.

"We can tell my parents first." Charlie said but that's not what I wanted. I didn't want my parents to find out from his parents and I didn't want Charlie's parents to find out from mine. We had to tell them together.

Charlie's parents are very religious. They always talk about how gays are horrible and how the can burn in hell. I don't know what I'm more scared about what Charlie's parents will do to him if they find out about him or what he'll do to himself after they find out. We both know they aren't going to take it well. Neither one of us has the nerves to say it though. My parents however, have never talked about being gay or religion in general. I think my parents always knew I was gay. I just think they were waiting for me to tell them. Or at least that's what I hope.

"No were telling them together." I said making my decision. Knowing that if my parents were there Charlie's parents couldn't hurt him. Or at least I hoped.

"I'll text them and tell them to come over here then." Charlie said as he grabbed his phone on the nightstand next to my bed.

"They're on their way." he said as he slowly put his phone down. I took him in to my arms and kissed his forehead whispering that everything would be fine, and that I loved him.
