A gentle light leaked through your blinds, dancing upon your bed sheets. Eyes gently fluttering open you rested your gaze upon Harvey. The golden rays graced his soft futures, making his wavy hair glow a brilliant yellow. You could honestly just lay here and marvel at him all day.

He smelled of coffee and some type of expensive cologne that had hints of pine and caviar. You pulled him closer to you and ran your fingers through his bed head. The messy waves askew in every direction. Feeling his chest raise up and down, listening to his heart beat, the feeling of the sun shining down on you through the window, it was unearthly. Divine even, the sound of the world waking up outside your cabin. Birds letting out gentle coos and singing lazy tunes.

Harvey shuffled around in your arms, his eyes squinted before he opened them. You couldn't help but smile, "Good morning beautiful," you hummed to him, kissing his forehead as the smell of coffee became stronger from the closer proximity. Sleep still fogging his vision and mind he just smiled up at you, resting his chin on your chest.

He groaned tiredly, "Good morning," his baritone voice sent shivers down your body. You continued to run your fingers through his hair, scratching his scalp and earning a pleased groan from him. "Get home late last night?" He sighed and nodded, burying his face into your chest as he spoke, his voice muffled, "I had some papers to fill out... took longer than I expected,"

You giggled and kissed him again, wrapping your arms around him, "Mmm you work too hard Harves, take it from a farmer," Your hands rested on his back, tracing small circles with your thumbs, "You have off today right?" He just nodded, squishing his face into your chest.

Y/n sighed through a smile and asked, "Breakfast?" His lanky limbs attached himself to you, his arms synched around your waist as he threw a leg over yours. "In a minuteeee~" he whined, you just had to sit there for a second and comprehend the situation. A fully grown man, a doctor who went to college and came out with a graduate degree, is clinging to you basically asking 'five more minutes'.

You combed through his amber hair, twirling around the curly locks in between your fingers, "I love you..." You whispered into his hair before placing a gentle kiss onto his forehead. Harvey stretched and let go of you, his voice strained as he spread out his arms and legs, "You're too kind to me," Seeing an opening you poked him in the stomach teasingly, causing him to immediately retract from the stretch.

"Already???" He turned to you laughing. "There's no rest in Pelican town Harves, stretch when you're dead," Harvey pouted and crossed his arms, laying  on his back and looking straight up at the celling, "Well I was gonna make breakfast..." You got on top of him, straddling his torso with your legs.

"You mean you are making breakfast." You teased looking down at him with a smug grin. He sighed and smiled, placing his large hands on your thighs. "You're gonna kill me woman," Y/n leaned over, crossing her arms and placing her chin on her arms. "I have it planned out and everything!"

She unfolded her arms and placed her elbows on the bed, cupping Harvey's cheeks, "You'll be a great plant fertilizer," He took you seriously for a second before chuckling, "Yeah- I'll make breakfast than,"
