Dear Birristra Babu,

I have got a got good news for you. There was a scholarship exam held at our school. I have aced the exam and as a result of it, I have now got a full free scholarship to study in Dalhousie for my remaining 3 years. All of my expenses will be covered under the scholarship scheme. I am the only girl and an Indian to get it in history of this school. Be proud of me if possible.

I know, you didn't want me to take stress about money but I don't want to burden you at all, you already have done so much for me. Saving me from Sati to the society's evil customs. You have done it all for me.

This was the least I could do to lessen your burden.

I am having a great time here in Dalhousie. The people was very welcoming but a few people did bully me a little bit, but I handled them to the best of my ability. Now no one bothers me at all. I have made a great friend named Malika. She has been a literal saviour for me. She is my first true female friend and have taught me many things, I was unknown of.

I know, you must be thinking Bondita always needs people to save her. But that's not the case. I tutor her on all subjects as her results are barely tolerable and she gives me lessons on the world that she has seen with her parents.

I am sending you some clippings of the writings of mine that has been published here on the daily newspaper. I am writing on my free time and it gives a different strength to endure the cold weather of this beautiful hill station. Writing has became my greatest hobby. And I learned that, writing words gives you the ability to weave a different reality that only you can have control of. Writing has became my escape from reality.

My studies are going extremely well. I will never let your sacrifices go in vain, barrister babu.

I am proud of you, Barrister Babu, about your progress on the child marriage nullification act. I read about it on the daily newspaper that, I had stolen from our warden. Don't frown at me for my act of stealing.

I don't want your blood pressure to increase because of me.

I am proud of you as a student and as...I mean and.

Tell me, how is everyone at home. Is kakasasur ji taking his medicine timely? Tell him to reduce his sugar in take. Tell sasur ji to work a little less and focus more on his health and tell him to practice yoga to reduce his work stress. I heard it's good for you to practice yoga.

Tell Sampoorna Didi to take care of herself and all the family members. I was glad to know, how good she has become from Batuk. Life has given her a second chance and I am proud that she has grasped her second chance gracefully.

Tell Som dada, best of luck from me. I wish his exam goes really well and he gets selected for medical college. I would love to see him in a doctor's white coat treating patients in the hospital.

Tell my favourite chote zamindar to take care of himself. Ask him to eat a little less Roshogolla. And tell him to never replace me as his best friend if possible.

Tell him to not eat too much street food outside as he will get a more round belly then.

These 6 months have gone too quickly here.

My day goes by seeing the scenery of the luscious mountains and the occasional rain of snow that happens almost daily in winter and watching the stars at night after completing my homework.

I miss Tulsipur a lot. But you were right, about sending me here. You blessed me with another thing to always be grateful to you.

Tell me, how is Manorama Didi and your relationship going on? Do get married to her after our formal divorce in real this time.

I have heard from my classmates, that very soon the marriage nullification act will come to pass.

Send me the divorce papers by post or if, you get too impatient then as my legal guardian sign on the papers on my behalf if needed.

You have wasted many years of your life for me barrister babu and even sacrificed so much...I don't want to be a barrier in your happiness any longer.

Please don't send me anymore money as my recent scholarship and the money I am getting from the newspaper are enough to cover my all expenses.

Do congratulate me in your letter if possible.

I wish you all the best for your case hearing. And don't shout on poor Bihari bahu too much for your coffee. I hope he is making your coffee just as I had taught him.

Stay happy and stay blessed. Do give everyone my regards.

Your well-wisher
Bondita

I don't know what the crap I have written.

My mood just striked me to write this one shot or a short story probably.

Let me clarify something there for Manorama haters, there is no romance between them at all. She is just a side character.
