regulus black. . .

JULIETTE OVERSLEPT. mother was pissed and had to take laurent to the side to remind him of the breakfast schedule. he apologised and said juliette was sick but i knew the truth. she was hungover.

after breakfast, i went back up and knocked on her door. i wanted to check how she was. no response. i knocked again. this time i did get a response.

"go away!"

i sighed, putting my hand on the doorknob. i was about to open the door but sirens began ringing in my mind. what if she was getting dressed? or crying? anything like that freaked me out.

"is it clear to come in?"

i heard her drop something inside. "regulus?"

"yeah. it's me. can i come in please?"

she didn't say anything but instead got up and opened the door for me. she stood there, her makeup from last night smudged and her hair tangled, tied above her head.

"come in.." she mumbled, stepping back. i walked into her room and shut the door. she sat on her messy bed, chucking some books and notes off. "it's a mess. sorry."

"did i say i'm sorry for kissing you last night?" i asked.

"yes, you did," she smiled. "uh— i didn't come down for breakfast."

"i noticed," i said. "i read something that i wanted to tell you but you weren't there."

she laughed, "you thinking about me at breakfast, black?"

"i'm thinking about you all the time, miss leroux," i joked.

"don't let them hear that!"

we both laughed, falling into each other and i felt her head on my shoulder. then she dug her face into my chest.

"gosh, i have such a bad headache," she groaned, still laughing. "it's your fault."
