"Hello, Elena" Damon greeted as he opened the front door.

"Stefan here?" She asked. "He called, said it was important."

"Right this way" Damon replied, moving to the side to allow her inside. Damon shut the door after she walked in, Elena not having to walk far since Stefan was waiting for her around the corner.

"Hey" Stefan greeted her.

"What is this about?" Elena asked. Stefan moved to the side as Rose walked out into her view. "You." Elena said in disbelief.

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years" Rose began. "And I don't know what's true and what's not true."

"Enough rambling. Get to the point" I sighed.

"Klaus I know is real" She paced back and forth in front of us all.

"Who is he?" Elena asked.

"One of the Originals. He's a legend" Damon answered for her.

"One of the first generation of vampires" Stefan added.

"Like Elijah" Elena spoke quietly.

"No. Elijah is the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus. He was a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal" Rose corrected her.

"Klaus is known to be the oldest" Stefan added.

"Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena questioned.

"Man" I held back a laugh. "You have bad luck."

"What they're saying is- well if what she's saying is true and you're not just saying it so we don't kill you then we're looking at a solid maybe" Damon replied.

"Look, Elijah's dead right? So no one else even knows you exist" Stefan tried comforting Elena.

"That you know of" Rose pointed out.

"That's not helping" Damon smirked slightly.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. I mean, we don't know what's real. For all we know he could just be some sort of stupid bedtime story" Stefan continued.

"It's real" Rose exclaimed. "And if he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot."

"All right, we're shaking" Damon cut in. "You've made your point." Elena grabbed her bag and began walking out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Stefan asked her.

"School" she replied, turning to look at him. "I'm late."

"Let me uh, let me grab my stuff I'll go with you" Stefan offered.

"That's okay" Elena told him. "I know where it is." And with that Elena had left.

"She's in denial" Damon mumbled.

"Shut up Damon" Stefan snapped.

"Alright, Rosebud" Damon spoke walking up to Rose who had been silently crying next to me. "oh, please don't tell me you're crying. Cause your buddy Trevor lost his head."

"You always been this sensitive?" Rose asked, dabbing her eyes with a tissue.

"There's a little vampire switch you can just poof for this very reason" Damon reminded her. "Takes the emotion out of it."

"Yeah, you switch yours, I'll switch mine" Rose told him.

"Yeah, let's not do that" I spoke up, glaring at the both of them.
