JJ's Pov:
After speaking with Hotch I getting really concerned about Emily. It's not like her to just disappear. I'm going to stop by her place to check on her and see how she is. I just want her to be okay.
Emily. It's me Jennifer. Is everything okay?
I waited for a response but there was no response. Emily and I are so close that she gave me a key to her apartment. I walked in and her place was a mess. Which is so unlike her since she's always so organized and sleek. It looks as if there was a struggle. But her car keys are gone. If Morgan is right she might be going after the unsub herself. I'll call Pen on the way home to get more info.

The next day

Penelope's Pov:
Pen: Hey hot stuff. You ready to solve this case and figure out where Emily is?
Morgan: You know it sweetness.

I gathered everyone in the bull pen to talk about what I dug up on Ian Doyle and his connection to Emily. There wasn't much, but I did find one piece compelling.

JJ's Pov:
Hotch: Okay everyone I trust that you are all well rested? Let's get started. Garcia did you find any connections between Prentiss and Doyle?
Pen: I didn't find much, but I did find that there was an undercover agent that was posing as Doyle's love interest.

Love interest? My cheeks started to turn red. Emily has never mentioned going undercover. She claimed she came off a desk job before working her at the Bau. I've always wondered why she never flinched at crime scenes maybe it's because she's been in this field before. Shhhh I need to clear my thoughts Pen is still giving us info.
Pen: I did some more research into the undercover agent and I found the group of agents that were also on that case. And surprise, surprise the woman that we found shot outside her apartment was...
Morgan: Lemme guess she was one of the agents in that case.
Pen: Precisely, but guess what your blonde headed genius did. I reached out to the only agent that I could find, and he gave me this picture of the file of your undercover love interest, Lauren Reynolds.

On the screen was a paper with most of the information blacked out, but there was a picture in the top left hand corner. I'd recognize those eyes anywhere. It's Emily.
Hotch: Garcia can you zoom into that picture in the left top corner.
Pen: Sure thing. Oh my stars...is that.
Hotch: Yes it is. It's Emily.
Morgan: Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that Prentiss slept with this dude to get more info back to her team. That's... I... I feel like I really don't know Emily.
Hotch: Morgan stay focused. We need to find a way to contact her and locate her. Garcia try calling all of Prentiss' old numbers to see if maybe she's using an old phone. JJ and Spencer go to Emily's apartment and see if you can find anything that we can use to locate her whereabouts, and Morgan can I speak to you in my office.
We all went out separate ways to try and piece together this case. All cases are difficult, but this is Emily. This is different.

Morgan's Pov:
Morgan: You wanted to see me.
Hotch: Yes. Sit down please.
Morgan: I think I'll stand. What did you want to talk about.
Hotch: I wanted to make sure you are stable to work on this case. You got pretty heated in the bull pen.
Morgan: I'm fine. Why would you assume that I am not fit for this case?!
Hotch: Your body language and your reaction was your tell. You feel like Prentiss wasn't honest with you about her past, and that made you angry.
Morgan: Hotch don't profile me not right now. She went undercover with one of the worlds most sinister criminals and she played house with him. You can't tell me that wouldn't anger you too?!
Hotch: Morgan I understand where you're coming from, but we don't have time for this. Prentiss needs our help. I don't want your emotions to cloud your judgment on this case. Am I clear.
Morgan: Crystal.
