Ry glanced away, he wanted to tell them but was it really his place. Yes Alria had been their friend, his mate's maid of honor as Stormy had called it at the marriage ceremony. Somehow he felt it should be Stormy that should be telling them. As his mind drifted to the young hybrid fighting for her life he caught sight of a human woman following them. She seemed to be trying to not to be caught by them, he let the fact that he had seen her go before a sad, yet heavy sigh slipped from his lips.

"Her original guard, Reid's mate, recently died." Ry imparted as he glanced at the ground. "We had stopped to give Stormy a moment when we discovered Jas was a traitor and we were being followed." He revealed as they entered the house, once inside they placed Reid on the couch. "Sage has one hell of a right hook, but we had discovered that Stormy and her guard Alria were missing and by the time we found them..." Ryln paused, not wanting to finish his sentence as the images flashed through his mind once again. "Neither went down without a fight, one of the guards was fatally injured and I made sure he remained that way. We couldn't find Alria, only Stormy." He answered as his voice quivered as he spoke looking around the room.

"I beat Reid's A.S.S." A sniffling voice spoke up from behind.

When the three males turned around they saw Sage, tear streaked face being patted by Lilia as she laid her head on her shoulder. Ry now understood the young hybrid's reaction to his mate earlier.

"Ass? My Daddies say much worse Mommy." Lilia giggled softly as she stroked Sage's cheek. "Don't worry Aunt Storm will be okay." She added with a curt nod.

"Okay why did you beat him up?" Phoenix asked, trying to get around the fact that his niece just threw Sty and Eyl under the bus. "Not that he doesn't need it." He retorted.

Onyx however was extremely quiet, from the moment he had heard the name Alria, his sister's name had been that, at least that's what the Everin's siblings mother had always told him. She had told him one day the whole truth would come out.

"Alria?" Onyx inquired; his voice shaky at first as he glanced at Sage. He knew with his mate under the knife right now Sage was the one that would tell him the truth.

"She told us, just recently that she was your twin, what our mother told you was correct. I'm sorry. She died protecting Stormy, we let them both out of our sight." Sage whispered.

"No, This Adarius's fault! She died from the wounds she sustained from the two morons he sent after Stormy." Dyvis quipped as he walked into the room, he was drying his hands on a towel. "Stormy seems to have given as good as she got, it looks like they were trying to protect each other. I know it's no help, but Alria was given the highest ceremonial burial allowed." He continued then glanced back down the hall from which he had just come. "but Stormy had been deemed officially kidnapped, except to those who reside in the building many believe she is dead and are willing to join the rebellion. Now is it true Cirlo had been harassing you all again?" Dyvis tacked on, annoyed that he had to deal with his spoiled little sister when he had more important matters to deal with.

"Yeah sorry about that, this time she went after Lilia." Halio answered as he came into the room, he had just been with Eyl. The pair had been talking with Adarius's spy. "We need to talk about the hybrid that came with them." He quipped.

"Don't forget Skye!" Phoenix tossed out as he turned around to look at his younger twin. "Kill the hybrid, he has taken an important person not only to the girls but to the true King." He ordered.

"No, that is not what will be happening here. I want to talk about this, but not until Stormy is awake." Onyx demanded as all eyes turned to him. "Dyvis, may we see our mate?" He inquired, as his chest ached not only for his loss but for the loss that his mate would be feeling as well as for what Reid must be feeling.
