"We're best friends"

(My grammar is so bad correct it please if I mess up)
Tara wakes up to the sound of her phone ringing before she answers it she looks at the name as it says "Amber<3" she answers, it's silent for a few seconds until she hears a voice
"Hello" Amber say's
As Tara reply's back with "Hey Freeman"
"Hey Tara" Amber says in a more comfortable tone "do you want me to drive you to school"
Amber asks.
"Why wouldn't I?" Tara says as she smiles.
"Well I have to go get ready, pick you up later though. Love you"
Tara smile grew wider as she heard what Amber said "love you too, bye" Tara says as she hung up the phone.
Tara jumps in excitement knowing that her "Best friend" is going to pick her up.

Now I know what you guys are thinking but Tara's not a lesbian actually she's straight she's just never felt the need to like guys or in fact ever have feelings for them. In Tara's head she just hasn't met the right guy, right? But her heart would be in half without Amber, Amber is Tara's other half.

Tara looks in the mirror after getting ready she starts to smile when she remembers she's getting picked up by Amber. Tara gets a ding from her phone as she picks it up she notices that it's Amber. Tara jumps up in excitement, Tara runs down the stairs when she hears Sam yell
"Going to school with Amber today!!"
"Yes!" Tara yells back in a hurry
She goes outside Going up to Amber's car opening the door saying
"Hi Amber"
As Amber smiles she says "hi Tara"
Tara felt like butterflies, She loves the way Amber says her name it makes her happy but ofc because it's her best friend who wouldn't be happy by that.

(At school):
Amber and Tara get out of the car
"Did you enjoy my ride Carpenter I'm gonna need to charge you"
Tara looked out Amber while she said that
"I'll pay you if you give me a better ride later"
Tara says in her most straightest way possible
"Is that a challenge? I'm getting that money" Amber says as they both laugh while just looking in each other's eyes not noticing their whole friend group is yelling for them.

(Tara's POV): Amber has really pretty eyes they're really dark brown almost black that's the thing it's like you're getting sucked into a black hole to where you can't look away
I hear Amber say "Tara.." silently to where only I can hear. I notice what I am doing and I look away really fast. Holy shit did I just do that I mean she's my best friend it's normal... Right???

(Amber's POV):
I'm looking into Tara's eyes as she looks into mine her eyes are so gorgeous they sparkle they're like the brown eyes that everyone would want. It feels like the whole world stops when you look into them. I mean I can admit I've always thought Tara was pretty I mean who wouldn't? It's Tara Carpenter I mean ofc, Tara is just my best friend. when I notice what I'm doing I say
"Tara.." silently so no one would hear but her I see her look away really fast.
I can feel something in my stomach all of a sudden I feel nervous.

(No one's POV):
Amber looks at the smaller girl and says
"We should go to the group it looks like they've been trying to get our attention"
"Oh really? I didn't even notice" Tara says in a sarcastic tone as she walks away
Amber stays there still wondering if Tara is mad at her but what would she be mad at Amber for?? I mean Amber has never been worried about Tara being mad at her because She usually gets over it but it seems different this time, I mean ofc to Amber it does.
Amber has never thought about love well maybe never with a guy she thinks it's weird but usually brushes it off but then she started thinking about being in love with her best friend so quickly she got the thought out of her head. That was her best friend? She would never. Also, Amber is straight or so she thought until that happened. I mean she never had feelings for guys before it would make perfect sense, Whatever though right?...

As Amber is walking towards the group she can already hear Chad and Mindy fighting about whatever they fight about. Liv and Wes talking to each other which is odd because they never do. But ofc Amber only had her eye on one person and that was the short, brown longish haired girl that she dreamed to hug her in that moment
And she did.
Amber come's over to the back of Tara sitting on the bench. She puts her arms around Tara and kisses her cheek.
I mean this was normal stuff in their friendship but Tara found her self getting nervous and her face getting hot.
Even Amber got butterflies and she always does that.

(Tara's POV):
I feel Amber's soft lips on my cheek and I can feel myself getting nervous also my face getting hot that's an odd experience since Amber always does that to me
"Amber"
I say trying to get her attention
"Hm?" Amber saying back
"Are you walking to class with me?"
Questioning her
"Well duh we have first period together why wouldn't I?"
Amber said in her snarky tone. God Amber can be annoying sometimes but she's my best friend and I love her
"Oooooh" I hear Mindy say
"Did I just see a kiss on the cheek"
I was paying attention to Amber so much I didn't even notice the whole group saw
Before I could answer I hear amber speak up
"What about it?"
"Wdym what about it" I could hear Wes in a sort of mad tone.
"Are you just mad Tara loves me the most Wes? Don't worry you'll find someone as nerdy as you one day" I heard Amber saying
I slapped One of Amber's hand she had on my shoulder. I turned around in a look telling her to not be an asshole at least for a day it's only the morning and there's been a whole lot of questioning.
Amber whispers in my ear.... (To be continued)
