"We'll now begin the 88th National High School Championship, the Tokyo Tournament of East and West!!"
The stadium was full of spectators from the East and West of Tokyo. All participating schools lined up on the field and the Captain's of each teams are up front, holding a cardboard with their school's name inscribed on it.
Murmurs circulated around the players as most of them eyed Seidou because of their female players participants.
"So that's Seidou's female players."
"Dalawa pala?"
"Akala ko isa lang?"
"That red headed girl is said to be a monster rookie batter, but I don't know about that other girl.."
"Seidou must be joking right? They really want to send those girls out in the field?"
"What can they do? Are they aware that this sport is a man's turf?"
An irritated bearded senpai from Seidou can't contain the belittlement those players around them spurt out.
"Yes! They're fully aware! You're all so judgemental! Hindi niyo nga pa nakikita kung ano ang kayang gawin ng dalawang ito!" Jun shouted na ikinagulat nila.
"Jun, chill. Let them be surprised in the end." The rose haired senpai said.
The bearded upperclassman groaned, "I can't let them belittle our two precious kouhai's!"
"Senpai, you forgot na pito kaming lahat na mga kouhai's niyo." The bespectacled catcher added while placing a dirt-eating grin.
"Hah!?" The bearded senpai yell in annoyance.
The bespectacled boy giggles for annoying his senpai.
"Tokamoto Irashin...Kunitomo Katarina...Please take a step forward here to hear the head's decision for the two of you." Anunsyo ng commentator na ikinakuha ng atensyon ng halos lahat ng tao.
Nagkatinginan naman sila Ira at Kat dahil sa biglaang pagtawag ng kanilang pangalan.
"Hey, you two. Get your ass' there already!" Their big stomach upperclassman told them.
Their senpai's moved to the side to give them space to walk out. Magkasabay silang naglakad papalapit sa home plate kung saan nakatayo and commentator at ang head ng High School Baseball Organization.
Murmurs erupted from the audience as they witnessed the event.
"A female players?"
"Is that even allowed?"
"How can they play together with those boys? I mean look at those two girls, they both have small figures!"
"I doubt they can't even hit a ball."
"Or run fast."
The two female players stopped in front of the head organizer. They are warmly welcomed with a smile by the man.
