Chapter 1

Auradon - Ben's POV
"Sleeve. Head. Ah-ha!" the man says "How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" Dad gasps "he is turning 16 dear," mother nudges him "hey pops" I call out to him "16? That is far too young to be crowned king, I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42" Dad says "Uh, you decided to marry me at 28" Mother glares at him "Ah, it was either you or a teapot....kidding" he says causing me to laugh a bit "mom, dad...I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." I look out towards the isle "The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Dad growls lightly, "We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." I smile. "Have you?" "I gave you a second chance. Who are their parents?" She questions "Cruella De Vil... Jafar... Evil Queen... Maleficent... and Hades"

Isle Of The Lost - Nitix's POV

"Nix, what can I do for you?" Dizzy smiles as she runs over "I want something done with my hair, I don't like it being straight anymore," I smile and she squeals "I got just the thing, come, come!" We walk to chairs and I sit down. She brushes my long hair. "would you also like a haircut? It's rather long?" She questions, "I suppose I could go mid-back. " I smile, and she starts working her stylist magic and uses cans, fabric and hair spray to keep everything in place. "how's your dad?" I groan. "He has Cerberus' bark on loop on a record and complains that he shouldn't be here 'cause he's a god," I laugh as Dizzy starts cleaning up the salon. Once it was cleaned up, she walked back over and removed the cans and fabric and carefully brushed my hair a bit. "Do you like it?" She asks "no, I don't like it one bit, I adore it. " I smile as I stand up. I reach into my pocket and hand her some money and a decent tip. "keep the tip" I whisper before patting her shoulder "and keep up the great work Dizzy!" I call to her as I walk out witnessing a group of four teens walking around like they own the place "hey M, that kid kind of looks like you" the blue-haired girl says pointing, so as any normal VK does I walk over in their direction and right in front cutting them off and tripping one up in the process "Nitix! Something came for you!" An elderly woman calls so I walk over to her with a smile and take the letters and flip them over "oh this is from my stepmother, and this is from a school...?" I frown "it's way too fancy to be one from here and both were given by an outsider, apparently, he's coming back to collect the others tomorrow, you better tell Hades and come back here before you go" she warmly smiles before walking into her house so I run past the group of four and all the way towards my home. "Dad! Dad! Stepmother wrote to me and so did a fancy school!" I yelled running down the stairs "what?" He asks laying in his chair as I hand him the letter from Auradon Prep. He opens it and reads "it says you have been chosen to go to Auradon Prep with four others... Maleficent's daughter, Jafar's son, Cruella's son and Evil Queen's daughter" he sighs sitting up properly "doll face. I want you to go really, mostly so you can check up on the underworld and put the dead people where they should be. My siblings and my wife should have taken care but my siblings are so... incompetent at it" he groans "there's something I probably should have told you long ago...you have a twin sister, your unidentical twins and that may or may not be Maleficent's daughter, now look, I did explain to my wife the whole story, she did say she hopes that I get her something when I return and I'm not sure what which got me thinking on everything she likes and loves" he smiles a little "just give her yourself. Oh and I'll send you some makeup and skincare, so you look approachable by mother" I smile as we both knew I was talking about Persephone. I headed to my room and packed important stuff in a small bag before flopping on my bed and reading my mother's letter.

"My darling daughter though you are not mine, I hope this letter finds you well and with good luck attached. I've been spending more of my time down here in the underworld tending to the poor souls and I was thinking if you ever get the chance to be free of the wretched place we should meet up properly, perhaps on a weekend? Cerberus needs a walk outside of here but I fear he would scare the mortals away...and yes I am aware Hades had to marry what's her name? Ah, she's not important! But I must say I am glad it didn't last long though I will probably slap him for what he did...please tell him that only I know, love you sweetheart"

"DAD! MOTHER SAYS SHE NEVER TOLD ANYONE ELSE ABOUT YOUR OTHER WIFE" I scream from my room as I gather all of the letters and tie them up with a rose-themed ribbon
