Dating Mr. Podgy

PROLOGUE

"Lexi wait up! May ipakikilala ako sa'yo..." that voice came from Deanne.

Inis niyang nilingon ito at sinimangutan. "Sino na naman yan ha? Blind date again?" Deanne her best friend, was always the one whose settling her on so many blind dates.

"Yes, his name is Zander Buenaventura, 8pm sharp later, Lex..." nakangiting saad nito sa kanya.

"I told you to stop this nonsense Deanna, please tama na, ayoko ng gawin ito, please naman oh..." she said.

Deanna pouthed. "Eh gusto ko lang naman kasing bumawi sayo Lex eh, talagang nahihiya ako ng sobra sayo, after what happened..." anito.

Bumuntog-hininga naman siya, Deanna meant about her having a relationship with her ex-suitor which really means nothing to her, not a big deal, but Deanna here, felt like the most guiltiest criminal in the world.

"Deans, those are nothing, really really nothing, so don't worry about it..." she said.

"Okay fine. Nandoon na ako, but it's still embarrassing, he's expecting you tonight. Come on, Lex, just do a proper etiquette and courtesy, respeto man lang for his time na you know nilaan for this date..." Deanna said.

She faced palm. "Deans, this would be the 8th and last time okay? After this bahala ka ng mapahiya sa iba kapag hindi ko sinipot yang mga kalalakihang sine-set mo sa'kin" aniya.

Deanna giggled and strangled her arms around hers tsaka sila sabay na naglakad papuntang classroom nila.

They both studied at EHS o mas kilala bilang Eduville High. Eduville High is one of the largest school in the city, including the Celestine High, Broughton High and Williams  High.

This school are exclusive for only rich people, lalo't hindi basta-basta ang school na'to, you have to have millions before entering and study in this school. And money isn't the issue for Alexie, because her parents are proudly have billions in their bank accounts, since they were rich politicians and business owner as well.

Eduville High serves the best academic standards and full of advances high-tech learning school equipment that came from all the way abroad.

As I've said only rich people can enter and study into this exclusive school, but there's also one way to enter the specific school, at yun ay ang dapat magkaroon ka ng hindi basta-bastang utak to apply for a slot for scholarships, you must have the IQ standard of the school to have the opportunity on studying in this school.

Alexie is lucky, cause money isn't the issue, the only issue is that she's pretty, smart, popular, having the title of the most hottest girl in the campus, humble and etc but never ever ever ever ever dated someone.

Siguro kasi gusto niyang maramdaman na may feelings siya para sa taong 'yun, at hindi lang 'yung fling ordinary plain and for fun na relasyon, she wants a legit commitment.

At hindi niya pa iyon nakikita sa ngayon, that's why Deanna had been pestering her for so many times. She's now eighteen and also in her senior and last year in the Eduville High, but yet she haven't found her true love yet.

Maybe hindi lahat ng first and last love ay nakikita in high school, maybe when she's in college. It's still not her time to met someone she knew she would love for the rest of her life.

It's funny how things went, when there's so many  man would willingly court her, wait for her, pero niisa wala siyang nakitang super consistent, or baka naman meron talaga, hindi nga lang niya nabigyan ng atensyon, what's wrong with her?

Hindi pa man sila tuluyang nakapasok sa loob ng kanilang classroom, ay may nakabangga sa kanya, the impact was too strong that even Deanna's grip didn't do that much to stop her from falling her butt straight into the ground. Wtf?!
