Porsche POV

I frowned as I clung to the edge of the pool. I'm not even on the swimming exam today and yet I still can't get my head straight. In the situation I am in now, I feel like if I dive deep into the water and was then sucked down underground, would I be able to withstand it and survive?

I can't stop thinking about the fish I killed last night. I have no idea what will happen to me next. I will admit, I don't want to face any more problems at work.

I want to drown myself after all the koi fish died just because they were too sensitive to a certain 'foreign liquid' that had entered the pond.

"What's with the long face?" Tem asked as he swam over to me and Jom, who was crouching by the pool, walked over to us. They looked at me expectantly, waiting for an answer. Jom's current body condition doesn't allow him to take the swimming test today, so he has to do a written report instead.

"What the hell are you on about? How was my time? Well, I saw the professor noting results down." I took a deep breath, which caused even more confusion because I normally don't show my emotions. Except, this time, it's because I am stressed.

"I'm freaking out! Okay?" I said as I lifted myself from the pool and sat beside Jom.

"What's the problem? Tell me about it, maybe I can help," Tem said, still floating in the water, as he looked at me anxiously. The more I looked at that bastard wearing an orange swim cap, the more the images of dead koi fish flashed in my mind, damn it! If I had accidentally killed a fish elsewhere, I could just apologize and be done with it. But I had accidentally killed the koi fish that belonged to the mafia leader's favorite eldest son! My life is over!!!

"What am I going to do?!" I asked as forcefully rubbed my face. My two friends were even more awkward because they might be seeing me showing this type of mood for the first time.

"What did that mafia bastard do now? I'll kick his ass!!!" Jom made a fierce face as he raised his voice until Tem splashed water on him, abruptly cutting off his screams.

"Look at your condition first, bastard!! What a bold mouth!" Tem scolded Jom.

"Hey, it would be very satisfying. Just look at what they did to me! Come on!" Jom's face was full of frustration and anger every time he talked about it. I feel guilty for using his name when Kinn asked for my name. I had apologized, explained everything to him and of course, he was furious. So, I offered to provide lunch for the entire month, so he is now back to his normal self, being an annoying bastard.

Then they both realized that I now work for the mafia house. They strongly objected and were worried about my choice, but I explained that I did it because of the house deeds and the threats from that bastard Kinn. Besides that, the offer they gave me was generous. They listened to my explanation but still didn't agree with my choice.

"Tem, can you take off your cap first?" I asked in a soft voice. Tem was still floating in the pool and his swimming cap reminded me of the orange koi Sebastian which made me feel mentally unwell.

"What? I tried to choose a color that suits me. Don't worry, when you take the test, you will get good marks," Tem said as he took off his cap, then hopped out of the pool and sat beside me.

"Are you alright?" Tem gently asked me again.

"I killed Elizabeth and Sebastian ..." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Damn it Porsche!! Kinn is such a bastard!!! You only just finished your first day and Kinn ordered you to kill people already? Call the police to arrest him!!" Jom shouted.

"SHIT!! I have a friend who is a murderer, a killer!!!" I slapped Jom heavily, no matter what injuries he has from the previous beatings.

"Damn!!! Do they usually do things?

like that in a business like that? Shit, Porsche! You have to stop working for him," Tem said, his face looking like a bombshell had hit him. He moved a little further away from me and looked scared.

"Now your whole life is thrown away!" Jom continued to lament, then looked at me.

"That is still a human life!!" Jom said grumbling. But before his babbling continued and the story got more warped than it already was, I cut him off.

"They are not human!!" I exclaimed.

"..."

The two of them were silent, waiting for me to continue my words.

"They are both fish!" Both of them opened their mouths in shock, their jaws fell to the ground. But behind that, I saw a steady sigh of relief and they returned to normal.

"Shit... you almost gave us a heart attack. I am relieved now. So those are the name of the fish? Eli... what?" Jom asked.

"Because of the fish's name, I thought he would kill me!" I told him everything that I had experienced on my first day and that made them both laugh. It helped turn my stressed face into laughter with them. Will he call me today? I do not want to run into chaos when I go back, and I cannot imagine what I will face later. Jom firmly insisted that I should quit, which I again said no to, but inwardly I protested, if I don't resign, I will have to face that smug bastard Kinn.

Looks like I have no option but to beg for forgiveness and receive punishment since I cannot stop working there either as I had already signed a one-year contract. If it is broken and I must pay the penalty fee, where will I get the money?

I got up from the poolside and went to the bathroom to change. I glanced at my cell phone and saw that Kinn's unsaved number had called me eight times. I inwardly grieve my life choices and realize I have to follow Tem's advice to deal with this problem head-on, after all, I can't run away.

At exactly six o'clock, I parked my motorbike and took off my helmet, praying to Khun Phra Si Rattanatr ai to help protect me. As soon as my feet touched the ground, a guard walked over and called out to me.

"Khun Kinn is calling for you." I took a deep breath, whoever said sighing often will shorten one's life? It turned out that he was right because I feel like I am near death's door.

I walked slowly, climbing the stairs effortlessly as I looked at the large wooden door and opened it quietly. The atmosphere in the room is completely silent. Kinn is not alone as I see his older brother sitting with his arms crossed, with a deep frown on his face, and looking at me with malice. I tried to avoid his gaze and Kinn's also as he glared at me.

They already know it was me...

"Killer, why did you kill my fish?"

"..." I didn't answer.

Too tired to say anything, I swallowed every possible curse that tried to come out of my mouth.

"Oh ... are you feeling sorry for yourself?" It was Kinn's voice. It was a normal tone that did not convey any feelings, but it was certain that he scoffed, and it was directed at me.

"..." I am still having trouble saying anything.

"Or are you implying you didn't do it?" Kinn raised his eyebrows.

"How could it not be him? CCTV recorded it. At first, I thought it was time, so I called him and cursed him heavily. But when I looked closer, I realized it was you! So now I am very angry. Where did you think you were doing that!!?" Khun asked angrily.

Damn it!! He took the iPad which showed I was fulfilling the call of nature that night and he even pinched the screen to enlarge where my hands were directing my pride towards the pool and pointed his nose right in my face.

When I saw that this matter would not end so easily, I decided to apologize in a low voice.

"I'm sorry."

"What did they ever do to you? I loved them so much!!!" His screams were followed closely by whimpering. His eyes swollen and red, staring at me, indicated strong anger and emotional distress.
