While the others followed Eylosi they listened to what he was saying, Onyx was starting to piece things together slowly as he and Phoenix both held onto their mate, they had lost her once it wouldn't be happening again. Halio glanced at Skye as he pulled her along, they had finally gotten some peace and quiet and here they all were marching back into the lion's den. To anyone on the outside it would look as if one were marching to their death, nonetheless it wasn't just for their little family or to put the rightful king on the throne but for all the races, human, vampire, and hybrid alike. When they entered the room Jas was knelt before Stormy and Onyx, his head bowed waiting for the young hybrids to say something to him. Onyx had already decided to give the male a second chance, everyone was waiting on what Stormy would say now. Phoenix had told her why Jas had done it, to save his little brothers from Adarius's wrath, though she now feared that the two children were dead.

"Off your knees. Please Jas. I understand why you did it. I just fear..."She started to say when the male cut her off.

"I know my Queen, thank you." Jas nodded.

"Stormy." She told him but he shook his head at her. He felt he hadn't earned that right after everything he had done to her and the losses he had caused.

Once the details of how they would get back into what Adarius called his castle they set out on how to distract the male. Clearly his eyes were set on keeping Stormy and that's what they would use for bait. Clearly Onyx and Phoenix both protested more than her brothers had but in the end she had the final say. It was decided that once inside Eyl would find Elder Elorine and help the others disguise themself as servants or guards. Phoenix and Onyx would be the guards that had found Stormy while Sage and Skye hid behind his throne. Everyone had their places including the very elder that had helped all of them. They soon set out for Corrina, leaving Dyvis in charge of what was left of their family and instructions on what to do if they didn't hear back from them. Reid drove once again with Jas in the passenger seat, Stormy was in the back positioned between her two mates with Halio next to his brother and Skye on his lap, in the middle sat Sage, Eyl leaned against the passenger seat while Sty sat in the other seat. Everyone tried to think of something else other than what was about to happen. They had all just found each other and the fear of losing each other again was evident. What took two days ended up being shorter when Eyl showed Reid a shortcut, the older male gave him a look that would kill him.

"Sorry. "Eyl whispered as Sage pulled him away from Reid.

"Want another ass whooping?" She growled at the elder vampire.

Reid sighed as he took the path, now he remembered why he felt like Sage was like a little sister because they acted alike all three of them. Soon the lights of Corrina came into view there would be no turning back once they entered the building. Little did they know that Adarius had discovered some news of his own about his dearly departed queen. While he himself had taken the time to interrogate Ryln, the death of the vampire was slow and painful. In fact, he had recorded it so that he could watch Stormy break when he finally had her to himself. As he waited in his throne room, Adarius had pretty much cleared everyone but a few guards from the building. He wanted them to come for him, that way she could personally watch as he killed each of her lovers before taking the lives of her siblings. The Elder stood by his side unable to be of any help if they had come in search of her, Adarius had taken it upon himself to kill all but four of the Elders, the other three were currently sequestered in their quarters. She was the only one he truly trusted. Once inside the building Stormy sent Halio and Skye to the most important room they would need, she stopped both of them only once to hug them tightly before telling them to hurry and meet them. Reid refused to leave his sister or her mates side now that this was really happening there was no way in hell he would lose his sisters and brother to Adarius again, his mate and parents were enough collateral.
