i love reading
and soccer and my friends
i adore my family
and baking and writing
i hate disloyalty
and war and lateness
i dislike arguing
and pain and feeling melancholy
so who am i?
i am a muslim first
don’t ever forget that
and i love my Creator
and my Deen fiercely
but i am a woman
and i am delicate and fragile
and so very vulnerable
though at times i might deny it
so don’t hurt me with harsh words
don’t wound me with cruel expressions
i am sensitive, i cry
i pain easily
the Quran inspires me
pressure crumbles me
but i am a jewel, a diamond
treasure me...always...
