Chapter 2

Y/N POV

We got to his house and I was grilled by Rafe's little sister Georgia. "Who are you?" she asked. "I'm Rafe's friend." I replied reaching my hand out to shake hers. She just folded her arms and glared at me. "Georgia, just let her in. We are hanging out today." Rafe said as he pushed passed her. After that I met Rafe's mom. She seemed nice. After that I followed Rafe to his room.

"Wow, your room is so cool!" I exclaimed. He nervously laughed and said, "Oh...thanks. It's nothing special." "Why was Georgia so hesitant to let me in?" I questioned. "Oh.. uh, I don't know I guess she's just super protective of me." he joked. "You bet I am." Georgia replied at the door. "Jeez Georgia!!! You gave me a heart attack!" me and Rafe replied at the same time. We looked at each other and chuckled nervously. I looked away and felt my cheeks burning. "Are you blushing?" Georgia asked me sounding pretty mad. "W-what? Nooooooo." I replied obviously lying. She gave me an ' I'm sure ' look. "Georgia please get out!! We are just gonna talk and maybe watch a movie!" Rafe said annoyed. Georgia just glared daggers into my skull. If looks could kill I would be dead 20 times over. She turned around and left. Rafe looked so embarrassed and said, "I'm so sorry about her. She has always hated when new people come over. Especially girls." I laughed. "No need to worry or be embarrassed. She's just the younger sibling that is worried about you." I replied. He blushed and laughed nervously. "Soooo, what do you want to do?" I asked. "Lets watch a movie." he said. "As long as I get to pick the movie." I said. He replied with a laugh and an ok.

"Ok, what movie should we watch?" Rafe asked me once we were on the couch. "Hmmmmmm, either Midnight Sun or The Fault in Our Stars. Which ever one you have." I replied. Georgia then walked in and said, "OOOO!!! I like you SOOOO much right now! We are watching both and having a good cry." I laughed and said, "You heard the girl. Put The Fault in Our Stars in first please." Rafe laughed and after ne put the movie in he went and made popcorn, got multiple packages of Oreos, and grabbed 3 boxes of tissues. We started the movie and me and Georgia were laughing, smiling, and crying all through both movies. Even Rafe cried when Gus died and when Charlie read the note while listening to Katy's song. "Worst but Best movie ever!!!!" all three of us exclaimed. "Oh uh Y/N, what time does your mom want you home?" Rafe asked. I just looked down and said, "Probably soon sadly," I said. Rafe's mom took me home and I was getting prepared for the beating I would be getting. "I'm Home!!!" I shouted. "Where the HELL were you and why are your eyes red?!?!?!" my stepdad Hunter shouted. "Oh there you are
! I was so worried." my mom said as she ran up and engulfed me in a hug. "Don't worry mom I was with a friend and his sister. We watched The Fault in Our Stars and Midnight Sun. That's why my eyes are puffy and why I came home late." "Oh if that's it than I hope you you had fun sweetheart." my mom said. "NO!!! It's not ok because she was off with some boy probably acting like a slut just to get laid!!" Hunter replied. "Hunny, she was just watching a movie with a few friends." "I have their moms phone number so give her a call. She was cooking dinner when I left and she cried with us." I handed him the phone number and he called her and my story checked out but Hunter was still mad so I still got a beating with a belt. I went to sleep crying as usual and hoped that I didn't have too many bruises.
