Tallin had put everyone up for the night in a hotel for a few hours rest. Seven and Raffi unlocked their door after saying their good nights. Raffi tossed the bag with a change of clothes on the bed. "Shower?" Raffi asked Seven. Seven nodded and gave a sad smile. Raffi took Seven's hand and pulled her into the bathroom. Raffi moved to switch on the shower allowing it to heat up. Seven looked at herself in the mirror and moved her left hand to touch the metal eyebrow implants. She sighed, she knew that they were going to come back once they fixed the timeline but was hoping for a little while longer. "Hey." Raffi called to get her attention. Raffi helped Seven out of her 'flannel', as Tallin called it, before pulling her jacket off. Seven pulled her bloody t shirt off and looked down at her left arm seeing the old new Borg implant. Raffi saw what Seven was looking at knowing how she felt about her implants Raffi leaned down and kissed the implant, Seven's eyes fluttered closed at the sensation.
Raffi and Seven finished undressing themselves and stepped under the hot water. Raffi moaned at her aching joints. Raffi grabbed the shampoo. She massaged the shampoo into Seven's scalp working out all the filth from the last few days. Seven tilted her head back to rinse the shampoo as Raffi washed her body, she moved her hand over where the stab wound was, the skin smooth as the nanoprobes healed the skin. Raffi leaned down and kissed the area Seven moaned. "Raffi." Seven took the shampoo and washed Raffi's hair and body.
Seven stepped out allowing Raffi to finish rinsing herself off. Seven went into the bedroom and got herself dried and dressed, she looked at herself in the mirror hand going to her ocular implant she remembered back to when she first looked in the mirror that morning in the alternate timeline, she pulled out the wedding band from her jeans pocket (she had retrieved it on La Sirena). She had been thinking about marriage when they had spare moments, she wanted Raffi to be her wife. She heard the bathroom door open and Raffi came out she left the towel inside and just slipped her PJs on. Seven walked silently to the bed and lay under the covers, Raffi joined her after getting them a glass of water each. "Are you okay?" Seven asked turning over to face Raffi.
"Am I okay. Seven you're the one who was dying and now." Raffi replied. "I've lost Elnor I can't lose you too." Raffi started to cry so Seven pulled her in close kissing the top of her head.
"Hey I'm here." Seven whispered. "I'm here." Seven peppered Raffi's face with kisses as her tears fell. Seven reached for her alternate self ring from the side table and moved it to place on Raffi's left ring finger. Raffi looked up at Seven when she felt the ring, Seven looked nervous. "Raffi." Raffi didn't respond she just leaned into Seven and kissed her. "Is that a yes?" Seven asked nervously, she had spent the better part of 18 months thinking that Raffi would eventually get bored of her or that the Borg parts would be disgusting to her.
"Yes." Raffi said. Seven sighed in relief and kissed Raffi back.
"I never thought I could have this. Happiness." Seven said. "I have spent the last 18 months thinking that you would leave me at some point, thinking that these parts would put you off."
"Never." Raffi said, pulling Seven closer. "I love both parts of you."
