Today the flowers are blooming and the sun could be seen streaming down through the tree branches.
We had been housing a family of dwarves in our forest for a few days and so far they have been very pleasant to be hosting.
Sometimes when we need help the dwarves will aid us because this particular family is quite nice, they are almost always nice, but occasionally there is the odd one out that enjoys confusing innocent humans who don't know how their plants all died or why their flowers are trampled.
All in all this day has been quite peaceful and beautiful; everyone of the elves, fairies, trolls, and other magical creatures all took the day off of work to go enjoy the little stream that runs throughout the entire Evergreen forest.
If you looked at the forest today you would never guess the tragedy and terror that would strike tomorrow.
