La'Niya sat on the beach in silence. She often came to the beach when she felt stressed or just simply needed peace and alone time. Most of the time , sitting on the beach by herself listening to the ocean and feeling the wind blow calmed her down and put her at ease. But tonight was different, sitting there only seemed to make her heartache and pain seem way more over whelming than it did earlier. She'd been through so much. La'Niya had seen things that no 14 year old should have ever seen . All her life, she's been that girl . That girl that puts her feelings to side just to make another person smile. That girl that goes through pain just like any other human but refuses to show it because of her pride. That girl that everyone counted on to stay strong and never show emotion no matter the circumstance. That girl that acts as though she has the perfect life when she actually cries herself to sleep at night.
