Reuben's P.O.V

"Why is there a great big smile plastered on your face?" Marlon asked suspiciously.

My smile only broadened as I thought of my reply. After I had asked, Keaton out he didn't hesitate in showing me his response. I think we were there a good ten minutes just lost in each other. I didn't really care if people were annoyed; I was way too involved in Keaton.

I was overjoyed that he was now my boyfriend. I feared that he would reject me. After all, we didn't know each other long, but everything just felt right already

Evalene and Peyton stopped gossiping and turned to face me. "You look way too happy, for a Wednesday morning." Evalene said, with narrowed eyes.

Peyton poked my arm. "Are you daydreaming?" I shook my head. "Then tell us why you have such a big smile on your face." Peyton demanded.

"I may or may not have a boyfriend..." I trailed off, letting catch on.

I swear all their eyes bulged at once. They looked like the weird goldfish with the massive eyes. "Is it really that unbelievable that I have a boyfriend?" I asked my gormless friends.

"No of course not!" Evalene said quickly. "Just I haven't seen you talking to any other boys in particular."

"He doesn't go to this college. He goes to Weymouth Animal College." I told them.

"Ooh an animal lover." Evalene gushed with a smile.

Marlon clapped my shoulder. "Good on you Reuben. You deserve someone good." He said honestly.

A small blush formed at his words. Marlon had never discriminated against me for being gay, but found it awkward sometimes.

"Thanks man."

"Tell us everything about him."  Peyton pushed, as she slammed her locker shut.

I rolled my eyes but complied anyway. "Well..."

Once they were sated on their knowledge of Keaton, they finally stopped asking infernal questions. They ranged from how old is he? To, is he a good shag?  Obviously, I didn't know the latter...yet.

We had only being going out less than twenty-four hours. However, I did have something planned for tonight. I just had to make sure everything went according to plan.

The blaring of the bell, alerted us that first lesson was about to start. "C'mon on Reuben we can't be late for sociology." Evalene said, pulling me by my wrist.

"Bye guys!" I shouted to Marlon and Peyton's retreating form.

A second year student glared as Evalene barged straight passed him without warning. I said my apologies as Evalene continued to run towards Sociology.

She pushed open the door, letting go of my and sitting in her seat. I walked up to our desk, "What was the need to get here so fast?" I asked, slinging my bag on my seat next to her.

She turned her head slightly to face me, "One to annoy you. Two because, I need to do well in Sociology for University." She explained.

"I'm guessing you got into Kent Uni then." I questioned

She nodded enthusiastically with a broad smile. "They said I would have no problem with any of courses, because my grades are so high."

I bent down to give her a hug. "I'm really proud of you. Not that I was worried that they would reject you anyway." I said honestly.
