"Oh no I liked to travel with you guys" claimed Max
"My dad needs me at Pewter City so I'm not gonna travel anymore" added Brock

"Our journey will soon end I'm going to Kanto before starting another journey" said Ash

"I've heard Drew is going to Johto why don't you join him in his journey?" asked Brock
"Well I don't know how to find him and I don't want to look like a stalker to him I'll be better off alone I guess " lied May
